- I hope the guide is helpful to you. I wanted to play Fallout on my new (old, found lying around at work) laptop.
I've wanted to play this game again for ages since fallout on prime was announced. The Fallout series is absolutely fantastic. Essentially, the modpack allows you to change settings and unlock Easy Mode, Unlimited Ammo, and increase the number of days in-game before water runs out in your vault. It also allows a number of tweaks to screen settings and screen resolution. In fact, there are dozens of changes and modifications you can make with this mod pack.
Below is a link to where you can download the Fixt mod pack over at the awesome No Mutants Allowed website. Once installed, you apply the mod pack to your existing game file. Everything's explained in the video tutorial

Hello I have heard people saying this mod is deprecated and that Et tu is better, but I don't like some of the changes made by Et TU. I have read that Fixt introduces undocumented balance changes and causes some crashes(I didn't experience them when I played with Fixt in 2018) One buf is being unable to join BoS after talking to the npc at the entrance of the Bunker,, there have been report about crashes in the boneyard.Finally iof you enlist the help of the BoS they might block your path in Mariposa(this is the only bug I actually experienced).I don't know however, how big are the "undocumented game balance changes" reported.

Hi there, about the screen settings: any idea why they were already available as soon as I downloaded the game from steam 2 weeks ago?
Still I could really use this patch for bug fixing if it still works
The patch really is excellent. Perhaps it already had the settings if it was a different version , possibly. Not too sure.
@@8BitBoyUK seems like the current steam version includes the resolution patch now. Then again bugs are my only concern
can you open it from steam or do you need to open it from the fixt
Once the patches applied, you open the new applications that you've created. The shortcut on desktop will look different. That's how you know the patch is active 👍
I heard that fixt is outdated, buggy, unfinished and that nowadays fallout et tu (fallout 1in2) is the way to go
I've not tried that one although have heard pros and cons for both. I haven't noticed any issues with this one and I'm about halfway through the game now. I'd be interested if you install the other mod kit to see how you get on. In any case

and from what I heard, since it's fallout 2, you can activate some of the new features, it's also running better, more stably, more modable...
