"Super sweet" might be just added sugar. Where I live if you buy a coconut there's like a 15 percent chance that it will be kind of salty. Even the best ones are mildly sweet and don't have a 'coconut aftertaste'. All of the coconut flaoured stuff is like really exaggerated. Coconuts dont taste nearly that strong.

Green (fresh/unripe) coconuts have less flesh/ less tasty meat but wayyy more juice/water. Brown coconuts (ripe/older/fibrous) have tastier/more meat but wayy less water

Probably passed to be importable to the US or inspectors from USDA came to Thailand and it passes their standards. This regularly happens. Even in our local products that are meant for export such as dried mangoes.

Maybe they're a young coconut so they don't have any coconut meat yet; so that's why the water still full. The older coconut, the lesser coconut water. Coconut water will develop into coconut meat
