      Dude, purchasing power parity is higher in india. Thus, coconuts are way cheaper in india. This is not the case in Singapore.
      Realistically, the plastic most probably costs much less than the the coconut even in wholesale which is not the case in india.

      organic means lack of man made chemicals like fertilizers and pesticides. If God did not want us to burn the gas he wouldn't gave it to us. The global warming is a hoax. I have studied in university about agriculture. More co2 in the atmosphere means faster plant growth. CO2 doesn't absorb the sunlight and so it doesn't heat the atmosphere.

      @@konstantinoscrete2963 the only hoax i see is your comment. co2 makes plants grow faster and bigger but maintain the same nutritional value. so that's a downside, bigger food that's not packed with more nutrients. Also, global warming is real, take some basic science courses, and not agriculture to study global warming. its not the co2 that absorbs, its the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide controls the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere. Ever learn the greenhouse effect? that's what's happening to the earth, you're either a troll or never learned anything in your agriculture course.

      It helps preserve, keeping it fresh longer means more profits, less waste, better tasting product, and creates more opportunity to expand and cover more territory.... It also keeps down on exposure to bacteria, germs, and viruses.... probably cheaper to do plastic and it covers alot of things you just didn't think about and keeps them all looking the same plus free advertisement of your company, plastic works better for that for sure.

      @@MrRedsjack these have had holes poked in them and have been cut into... And supermarkets make money off all sorts of things, they don't care if the coconuts end up losing money so much. Guarantee less would end up in waste if they did wrap them but the grocery store would be the ones to wrap because the coconut business makes more money if the coconuts go bad faster... This vending machine and a grocery store are two totally different businesses and I'm not sure why I'm thinking for you but you could've given it some thought b4 wasting time on both our parts.

    - genius red cap keeps the top up so that it doesn't depress by accident

    Legit though, these are actually the BEST tasting coconuts I've ever tried. I remember selling them at a place I used to work, and they were so much better than any other coconut water available. I suffered a terrible loss the day we stopped getting them in stock 😭If you ever have the chance to try a Coco Thumb - I highly recommend it; super sweet, and a strong coconut aftertaste

      "Super sweet" might be just added sugar. Where I live if you buy a coconut there's like a 15 percent chance that it will be kind of salty. Even the best ones are mildly sweet and don't have a 'coconut aftertaste'. All of the coconut flaoured stuff is like really exaggerated. Coconuts dont taste nearly that strong.

    Damn therea like thousand of coconuts rotting on the ground here where I live. Maybe I should start picking them up and shipping them to places they can be sold like this. I'd only charge $0.50 a coconut since they're free and are available 365 days of the year.

      If they fell off they likely aren't young coconuts anymore, so you cannot drink it but try opening some n taking the flesh if its still good :p

      Green (fresh/unripe) coconuts have less flesh/ less tasty meat but wayyy more juice/water. Brown coconuts (ripe/older/fibrous) have tastier/more meat but wayy less water

      Probably passed to be importable to the US or inspectors from USDA came to Thailand and it passes their standards. This regularly happens. Even in our local products that are meant for export such as dried mangoes.

      Maybe they're a young coconut so they don't have any coconut meat yet; so that's why the water still full. The older coconut, the lesser coconut water. Coconut water will develop into coconut meat
