I feel like this is going to be the year of readathons for me and I AM SO EXCITED. Its just something about knowing other people reading along with you and sometimes towards the same goals that is just so encouraging!

I always want to join read-a-thon's, but I never manage to know about them in advance, so I'm not really prepared when they are happening. hopefully, I'll be able to participate of some of this year's read-a-thon's (probably the ones happening in January and - fingers crossed - Dewey's 24 hour).

But I have a question. Behind you, to the right of the cube shelf with the kitty in it, there's a painting that caught my eye straight away. Do you happen to know the name of the piece, and who painted it? Sorry this is out of the ordinary for your usual comments, but it intrigues me.

For the Dewey's read-athon, would it start the day of the 25th? If so would it be at say, midnight the 24th or midnight the 25th? Sorry these are stupid questions, but my brain gets all mixed up in these instances involving time and time zones :/
