David Preston - Organ Recital - January 28, 2024

This edition of the Charles Ives Recital by David Preston M.M. ‘24 will feature works of Bach, Böhm, Mozart, Dupré, Alain, and Hakim, performed on the 1971/73 Charles Fisk instrument at Center Church on the Green in New Haven. The first half of the concert will be dedicated to composers of the Baroque and Classical eras, showcasing the repertoire this particular instrument was designed for. The latter half features works by 20th- and 21st-century French composers, whose works shine with a unique light on this instrument.
