I have so many theories :
1. Shannon probably got hurt when escaping and died in the car and saw her own ghost
2. Or it could be just the baby dying and the pregnant woman she sees is an image of her pregnant self that is dead but not her as a person, considering the plastic bag ghost bit her stomach she was already hurt, maybe the stiches gave up when she escaped and the baby died.
3. It could also be the daughter of the old couple but I don't think so
4. It could be the créature that came out of Audrey and Henry, it really looks like it, it probably got inside them during the first ritual and now that they are dead it is looking for a new host/or doesn't need a host anymore / or it might be attached to the baby and following Shannon around until she gives birth
I think she's a ghost, and she saw her own dead body walking, posessed by some sort of a demon.

the 4th one make the most sense considering the rest of the movie plot
1 and 4 is more Relevant cause it supports the way of horror films more. But Jackson being taken away was another thing of mystery, but the thing that came out from the old man and old lady was possibly the devil. The devil possessed Ian in order to break free, possibly it also possessed the old man and lady as well as the detective to kill herself. u know what? this is why horror films are great, they never fail to leave a piece of mystery!
In conclusion: there's a knock at the door
I think this should be the best way to enjoy horror movies. Straight to the point with unnecessary scenes cut out.

She wasn't dead but her baby died and that ghost was the mother to the dead boy
It wasn't a pregnant woman. It was the devil. Ian summoned the devil back to earth and used Audrey and Henry as vessels. Shannon doesn't look upon the devil in fear, but relief. She no longer needs to fear for her baby. That's not what this creature is interested in. She rubs her own stomach, knowing her baby is safe.
I'm pretty sure it signifies the unborn baby. The 'pregnant lady' doesn't have any discernible traits and no clothes like the other spirits so it can't be the mother. My conclusion of the scene is that while the mother drives down the road, the unborn baby dies (hence the blood) and it's 'clothes' or what it's wearing is basically the mother.

@New Guy Yeah, i think it was like this, she was killed by the ghosts along side with the others, and as the movie said you opened the gates of purgatory or in other words hell and maybe that s why she can see her dead, but as in the beginning of the movie, she saw the kid, and maybe she saw herself in the near future, like she lost the baby, and she is passing out to, something along those ideas.

I literally just watched this movie based on your video and this is the first movie in years that I actually peed my pants because I got so scared at two different scenes. I mean I actually peed twice which I have never done. The only time I ever peed in my pants is when watching Hereditary when the girls had got hit by the pole. So the fact that I had to change my underwear twice and clean up before continuing to finish the movie really says a lot about how good this movie really is.
