Hello if I may ask any problems getting the car insured to drive, and I am not sure if I understood but you mentioned from whom in Japan do you buy these cars is there a place or contact? Many thanks
Hello for the insurance i did it through hagerty without a problem. For purchase of this or other cars i can help as i have my own export business. WWW.JDMPROIMPORT.COM
Can I ask you roughly how much you spent in total to get it to this point (export/import fees, haulage, paperwork)? I'm actually looking at a VR-II that's already registered locally and I'm trying to gauge the seller's price.
I bought this car not modified for $2900 shipping included. I went through a broker for the paperwork that was $700. So in total without modifications it was $3600. with modification it was 4500. And i sold it on cars and bids for $5200. The car price without shipping was 1500 which is somewhat on the high side but i decided to get it because of service history. However in general buying from japan will always be cheaper than a usa import dealer. Hope that helps. Let me know if you need any other help
@@Tech-Navi I see. I'm just north of you across the border, but the seller is asking the equivalent of 9k USD. He put like 2k in wheels and tires, and when I check out comparables shipped it comes to around 5k. I'm just wondering if skipping the hassle of having it shipped across Canada and inspected for registration is worth the last 2k.
I would never buy for an inport dealer. Bwcause i am overpaying and usually the cars are not in good condition as they buy them in bulk from the auction. Chosing your own car in japan and doing the process is so much fun and exciting. Especially picking it up from the port. Thats just my take though
Mazda and the suzuki are kei sports cars so you cant really xompare them. Jimmy is a good point but there is a ton of em in the US so the pajero is special. While i owned the pajero i never saw another one while ridding just saying. But both cars are excellent
This is awesome!

@@Tech-Navi Thanks for the comments, I was hesitating but now I'm questioning that buy even more and might do the process myself.
