To realize "Savage Sinusoid" as a completely sample-free record, Serre reunited with vocalists Laurent Lunoir and Laure Le Prunenec, along with drummer Sylvain Bouvier, and collaborated with more musicians than on any of his previous releases - one of those guests being Cattle Decapitation's Travis Ryan, who lends his vocals on "Cheval", "Apopathodiaphulatophobie" and "Robert". While Savage Sinusoid draws from a plethora of genres, Serre has no intention of baffling or alienating potential listeners. As he explains:"I just want to make the music I love, without asking myself if it's gonna be too complex or too far from what people like. I want to make the music which has sense to me, with no restrictions, like a big party with metalheads, electronics nerds, classical and baroque-heads and gypsy violinists getting drunk and joining together to bring the best of every genre."

On June 16th, 2017 Igorrr - the brainchild of French musician and eclectic composer Gautier Serre - will release their new album, Savage Sinusoid, via Metal Blade Records. On this record, electronic manipulations, accordion, saxophone, sitar, harpsichord, mandolin and strings sit comfortably alongside ruthless blastbeats, chunky riffs, death grunts and soaring operatic vocals - and as chaotic as this might sometimes seem, there is no lack of heart behind everything thundering from the speakers. For a preview of Savage Sinusoid, a video for the first single, "ieuD", can be viewed at: metalblade.com/igorrr - where the album can be pre-ordered in the following formats:
    --Digipak CD
--pale skin clear vinyl (limited to 500 copies)
--cream/white splatter (limited to 200 copies - EU exclusive)
--golden yellow vinyl (limited to 100 copies - Bandcamp exclusive)
--tan-marbled vinyl (limited to 200 copies - US exclusive)

there is no such thing as electronic manipulations, accordion, saxophone, sitar, harpsichord, mandolin, strings, ruthless blastbeats, chunky riffs, death grunt etc. there is good music (like this) and then there is the rest of the music.

The female singer (Laure Le Prunenec) has a couple of projects (Riciin, etc) and male singer (Laurent Lunoir) has too (Oxxo XooX). I'm starting to believe that they're making their tracks look random on purpose, whereas they're actually deep and complex.
I'm a huge fan of Igorrr, and I can tell you that it may take some time to realize how great their music can be; but at the same time, it is also one of the main reasons I like them so much.

i would say his music is a mix of randomness, chaos, structure, complexity, brutality, emotions, uglyness and beauty. All at once. What you think? :)

I started listening to Igorrr when I was introduced to his song "Brutal Swing" through a YTP video (I need to stop using those as a source of music) and I looked up some more songs of his. The first time I listened to it I was like "THIS IS HELL IN AUDIO FORMAT" and I dug in. Yeah first timers will be freaked out by the menacing-ish nature of his works. Trust me, listen to his album "Hallelujah" if you're new. You'll LOVE IT! Can't wait for the new album.

Something about igorrr... It's emotional af and still I can run it in the background when learning stuff what request highly focused attention. Very few kind of music with I can do that and except igorrr only classical and minimal chill techno or goa. Something very special about he's music.
