- Our European Motorcycle tour continues as we jump back on our Honda Africa Twins and Leave Rome, Italy to begin our Journey back to England. Once out of Rome we head off to see if the Famous Terme Di saturnia Hot Springs are as amazing as people say or another Tourist Trap. Also known As Cascate del Mulino Hot Spring, People Travel from miles around to see the Natural Hot Springs, but we do it by Motorbike! After Riding our Motorcycles to Terme di Saturnia Springs we head off into the Hills Riding into Tuscany which Continues to be an amazing Ride for us and the Africa Twins. But of Course, Not everything goes to plan...

Wow, what a ride, Rich and Ewa! You two have outdone yourselves yet again. The traffic in your latest vlog looked like a chaotic ballet performed at tortoise speed! I was on the edge of my seat watching you navigate through it. It must have felt like being in a real-life video game, with scooters zipping past like bees on a mission. I can only imagine the thrill and stress combined!
Finally, you escaped the madness and found a moment of peace at Sarni for a well-deserved coffee break. I could almost taste the coffee through the screen, and I’m sure it was the best-tasting coffee after that hectic drive. Rich, I have to say, seeing that Yaris block your path on those twisty roads was a heartbreaker. You would have had such a blast without it! Those roads were calling for some high-spirited riding. 🏎💨
The footage from Terme di Saturnia Hot Springs was nothing short of spectacular. The drone shots were pure cinematic gold - the crystal-clear water, the lush surroundings, absolutely mesmerizing. I can totally picture you, Ewa, with a chilled drink in hand, watching the sun dip below the horizon while soaking in the warm, mineral-rich waters. It's like a scene straight out of a dream. And then, the rain came! Rich, your impromptu moonwalk was one for the books. I laughed until my sides hurt, especially with Ewa’s playful jabs about your shoes. That moment was a perfect blend of spontaneity and humor.
The climb to the top of those misty, twisted roads was breathtaking. The clouds enveloping the peaks, creating an ethereal, almost otherworldly landscape - it was nature’s own masterpiece. Watching you both relish the serene beauty of that place was a reminder of why we love following your adventures.
Now, let’s talk about the culinary adventure - "Paluzki Drobiowe." You had me on a wild goose chase trying to figure out what that was. When I found out it translates to “Poultry Fingers,” I was baffled. Here in South Africa, our version of chicken sausages, often called "hotdoggers," leaves much to be desired. But yours looked so much better, more like a gourmet salami. It must have tasted great, judging by your satisfied expressions.
You guys are the perfect travel duo. Your vlogs are not just about the places you visit but about the incredible journey and the hilarious, heartwarming moments along the way. From battling chaotic traffic to discovering hidden gems like the Saturnia Hot Springs, and even the unexpected downpours - you make every experience unforgettable.

Oh Dear! Goldwing's are not great off roaders! Fantastic touring machines though, ive never ridden a more comfortable bike. Thanks for joining us on the road

@ontheroadadventure Have had many trips to European countries but the group was more speed than sightseeing. What I did enjoy with another friend was the France Normandy coast WW2 so interesting 🤔
@@user-bu9wo6gg1y Yes we discovered very quickly the go slower, see more method. I’ve done the Normandy beaches too, did you do the 360 cinema at Arromanches-les-Bains? That’s something il never forget, along with the American cemetery

Looked like an 'interesting day'. The hots springs did look amazing and then we found out that Ewa has a wicked (evil) sense of humour.... excellent. 800 m is about 2,600 feet, so that's a nice little hill you rode up. Looking forward to Tuscany in the sunshine..... with clean boots!
Yes we do have a good laugh when travelling, we all know theres nothing funnier than someone else's misery lol We will find some bigger hills to Climb soon enough, and the weather will get somewhat colder! whats you favourite touring Story?

@@ontheroadadventure oh, dunno if I have a favourite story, it's all just traveling and scenery. I guess having ridden in the wind and misty rain from John O'Groats and Dunnet Head to a hostel /campsite in Tongue on a wet and windy evening just as covid restrictions were lifting, to find that although the cafe could not be used for sit down meals, they were doing takaways. Half an hour later sitting in the entrance to my tent with a box containing a massive serving of home made lasagne with two bigs chunks of garlic bread was pretty special.... and yes, it was absolutely delicious.

It was, we were very surprised we thought it was just another placed hyped up online but it really was somewhere special. Tuscany has so many nice places to see, we cant wait to show you the next one!

The Africa twin is designed for your requirements. If I was you I’d take you and the wife out on some demo bikes, try out what you think you’ll like. What you said at the start of the video about safe parking is so true. Whenever I book the next days hotel I ALWAYS look on Google maps to look at the area and has the hotel got safe parking 😂😂
Yes Where we park the bike is always of a huge concenr, we will alway try to stay outside of towns where possible but the parking situation in rome was what made us leave it so late to go on the trip in the first place. We knew of the "Secure parking" but were scared what it would be, but sometimes in life you have to take a chance and in this case the parking in rome turned out to be fine. Have you heard of the Bikers BNB site BikeNTrip?

We have been very lucky on this tour, Considering its October! Been Baking hot at times too. I do love a good storm too, just when we are off the bikes! So Ewa has the 23 model and i Have the 2020 Model, they are basically the same except for the paint, and Ewa has a quick shifter fitted to hers. Have you seen any of the other episodes from the tour? Love you Bye! lol

@@ontheroadadventure I haven't ridden the manual, but the testride on this one was an eyeopener. I was hooked. changing gears manualy is really fun. Like a quickshifter by hand.
I take it to the Nordkapp next year. 5 weeks of riding it. Must be fun ;)

Thanks so much, love can’t always be roses hey! We both have Oxford Mondial Textiles which does do a great job and we carry waterproofs to put over the top when it’s really bad. The storm came so quick we didn’t get chance to put them on this time!
