I'm enjoying the videos Man! Remember how I was saying the filler panels next to the radiator had 2 maybe 3 different designs? Look at Steve's car he has the 1st style design where the core support was rivited together on the top bar. This is referring to his passenger side and you can see the hole where the correct panel would secure. The drivers side is correct for the core support as it has the correct mounting points. Now one further note the horn was moved down a couple inches from the first style core support. I assume for better sound travel. Have a good one Buddy 👍
Good tips as usual. Be careful in the heat and hope everything turns out well with your dog. Double check the transmissions cooling lines next to the engine. They looked kinked in the video, which might cause flow issues.
Hello there, I appreciate you sharing this project with us. I'm sure enjoying learning new things every video. I can't help saying that I noticed around time marker 18:35 his alternator and water pump pulleys look like they are way out of alignment (just from looking at the belt). I'm not complaining but I am curious if it's just a weird camera angle or something.
@haffrods7055 like you I always watch for the deals. I am a old Mr. Goodwrench mechanic. These were made in usa parts and I thought the price was good.
Awesome 55's looking great 😎
Thanks John

Cool stuff. 😎👍😎
Thanks Ron
Hey Rob, hope KeeKee is doing alright...We had a couple days of 36D, around 96F with high humidity not fun, lol.
She's still not 100% but hopefully the meds fix her up soon. It is hot as heck but at least it's not 20 degrees. Lol. I hate the cold

Just bought upper and lower ball joints and inner and outer tie rod ends on Amazon for my 55. Moog made in usa.
Steve just texted me to replace them. I'll tell him to check Amazon. They are expensive even with my discount at O'Reilley

A ticket for load exhaust? Probably not in Oklahoma from what I’ve seen (heard). 😂
What disc brake kit do you recommend?
I like the kit from Speedway. It's inexpensive and you get everything. It's cheaper than rebuilding all the drum stuff
