- "LIES OF P" DOROTHY "WIZARD OF OZ" POST-CREDITS SCENE. This post-credits teaser of Dorothy totally blew me away seeing something so unexpected from Neowiz. Definitely a rewarding treat for finishing my 50 hour playthrough in Lies of P. Neowiz have solidified themselves as the king of the soulslike genre with Lies of P and I can't wait to see what they'll do with a Dorothy / Wizard of Oz game or future Alice in Wonderland game!

I just finished Lies of P after my 50 hour playthrough and so many insanely tough bosses and seeing this was so unexpected and exciting. Neowiz has solidified themselves as the king of the soulslike genre imo. Can't wait to see what they'll do with a Dorothy / Wizard of Oz game!

@@corey_clipBah. The concept has already been done. I'd prefer a completely new fairy tale. Just like how Pinnochio was random as hell and now Wizard of Oz was random as hell as well. I want more random surprises like that. Make the next about the Muffin Man or something. Something completely new is my point.

Ive been hoping for something similar to Alice Madness Returns since its sequel got canned by EA but making it a soulslike would be FUCKING FIRE, if they use the insanity of Alice and the souls mechanics and difficulty and absurdity it would be a GOTY competitor

I feel like "We have a new brother" and "We'll have to get his arm back anyway" is a sign that Pinocchio will def be in the next game. Or st the very least play a part in it somehow.

Man this would be bad ass! Just finished off the Nameless Puppet and heading for round two where you can understand what the bosses are saying to you. Hats off to this team, 10/10 for me.

I mean it's crazy that Neowiz made a soulslike version of Pinocchio. When I saw the ending I think their next game will be a wizard of oz soulslike version, and then when it's done there will be another soulslike fairy tail game again

I think the same about Peter Pan given the original version of the story fits already how they turned Pinocchio story

I was pretty lukewarm on Pinocchio as a premise for a Soulslike when I started Lies of P. I don't have a ton of faith in dark retellings of classic fairytale lore, they often feel too forced or contrived, but after finishing the game I'm actually really excited to see what Round 8 does with this direction in the future. They did a great job with Lies of P.

Yeah, you're right, but Lies of P is much more grim and significantly more violent than the original Pinocchio story.
Also making fairytales more dark and aggressive is kind of a trope at this point since it's been done many times in other media, so that's what I meant when I said I didn't have a ton of faith in it being great at first.

I've waited years for a Wizard of Oz souls like. If this disappoints, I'll have to make my own (If I'm not to lazy).

It's a soul game theres no multiple characters, they'd probably focus on dlc before that since it takes place in the same world

They could get sued by WB for using the ruby slippers. Oz is in the public domain, but only the silver slippers not the ruby reds.
Them not being silver will bug me.
i thought them being ruby would cause copyright issues since like you said, they are silver in the book
@@nothingisawesome Possibly could be or it could just be because red is the more known color due to the movie. But I like that she is wearing black socks and a red dress, to show a darker grimmer world because in the book she wears a white dress with blue to show she a good witch. So either we get to play as Dorothy next game or she is a villian. This game was amazing. Either their going with Rise of P as the cannon ending or P (maybe Tinman) wont show up again.
