segment from 1996 Panasonic DVD Demo disc

Here is the main segment from the first in-store demo disc from Panasonic, authored in November 1996. This was the first DVD that most people saw, as the players were in the stores before any movies were available to buy.

I actually thought that after seeing this disc in a store. It looked terrible. The movie clips were a pixelated mess. They look OK on my system though. It took the word of someone I considered an expert to get me to buy a player and see for myself.

I like Blu ray disc it way better then DVD. But sometimes you should get DVD disc that has a DTS surround sound system. I use it on Blu ray player has DTS decoder. 😎👍
