    I didn’t need another language to learn! But you present so well and with the 2 levels of subtitles and already mostly knowing French it has sucked me in.

    10 - dis
    20 - ven
    30 - trant
    40 - karant
    50 - senkant
    60 - swasant
    70 - swasant dis It's like you're saying I'm taking 60 (swasant) and I am adding 10 (dis) to it and this is going to give me 70 (swasann dis) which is saying swasant e dis, we just dropped the e and say swasanndis. let's count from 10-19 in kreyòl then you'll be able to continue couunting from 70 (swasanndis) to 79.

    11 - onz
    12 - douz
    13 - trèz
    14 - katòz
    15 - kenz
    16 - sèz
    17 - disèt
    18 - diszwit
    19 - disnèf
    You will use the above to add it to 60 (swasant) to give you 70 (swasanndis)....and so forth.
    70 - swasanndis-----------(60+10)
    71 - swansannonz--------(60+11)
    72 - swansanndouz------(60+12)
    73 - swansanntrèz--------(60+13)
    74 - swansannkatòz-----(60+14)
    75 - swansannkenz------(60+15)

    80 - katreven is like saying I have 4 (kat) 20s. 20 (ven) this is where katreven derived from. instead of saying katven though we say katreven
    90 - katrevendis. we are taking 80 (katreven) and adding 10 (dis) to give us 90 (katrevendis). Therefore to continue counting from 90-99 we have to use the same method used for counting 70-79 but this time it will be from 90-99

    91 - katrevenonz------- (80+11)
    92 - katrevendouz----- (80+12)

    😂😂😂😂😂 uit ? There’s no U in the creole alphabet

      The diphthong "UI" exists in the creole alphabet. "Ou" and "Oun" also exist. What doesn't exist is "U" by itself as a letter. Thanks for watching!!!
