I love thrift shopping. It's such a frugal way of saving money. I do what you do, If something doesnt fit right but i love the item I would take it home and hem it to myself. I'm not one for measuring either, i kind of just estimate, pin and go from there. Always worked for me. Loved the video!!

Hi there I got a skirt that fits me well on my waist and the length is perfect. However I don’t got a booty and I would like to make it tighter from the booty and a little lower of my booty too. How would I be able to do this?
Could you lend me some advice? I ordered a high waisted black denim mini skirt. I LOVE IT! It fits perfectly at the waist. (Not to mention I had to wait a month to receive the order) However, I’m oddly shaped. My stomach carries my weights whereas my butt/thighs do not. So it’s not fitted enough in the butt/hips/thighs areas. What would be the best way to tailor it to me better? Taking it in from the sides? Or the back?
Hi ! Personally I would take it in on the sides . Keeping the waist untouched and just pin it in a way that the sides narrow in as you go down the skirt (: but don’t cut off any fabric until you have it all sewn and have tried it on . Just in case you need to redo it you can just take out your stitches and redo it (: Hope that helps ! & goodluck 🥰

There are knee high sock glue that Japanese students use all the time, you can get some on amazon
