Another fantastic episode, guys! Despite the halyard troubles, you're still pushing through and making progress on your incredible journey. The drone footage really adds a special touch to the video, allowing us to see the movements of the boat in all its glory. Stay positive and keep enjoying every moment. Fair winds, my friends! Happy sailing!

Loved the episode. X-mas in the sun☀️Sharks, dolphins, whales (Hermanus). The sea brings a lot though also danger. You experience it all the time. Captain Marijke ‘petje af’ and Mark likewise.Such a pity that safety is a serious problem in SA. Looking forward to Capetown footage. Hopefully a nice spot in the harbor.

Great episode again. I just loooove to see the drone footage of her movements. What’s causing the chafe on those halyards ?

For the spi it was our own fault hoisting the swivel too high, for the cover of the main damaged by the clutch it is wear and maybe a bit suboptimal lining up to the winch

It does not seem that ropes (halyards?) are built very well. I hope you have better luck at last with your new ones :)

2,5 years and 28.000 miles is not too bad probably, the spare one from the lagoon was just not strong enough (polyester core)

On a few occasions, when you showed a brief screen shot of your AIS track and other boats, I, sometimes was a little confused because your symbol was 180⁰ in opposition. The view, was to brief and my attention at the time of viewing was concentrated on the brief comment.
That could be very confusing in close quarters maneuvering.

I think that on our own screen the positioning was good but you might have seen other boats of the rally before in the wrong direction as Pochon did the installation there as well 🙈

On the chart plotter in the beginning were those boats or great white shark fins poking out of the water? You can never tell in Richards Bay
