1795 Flowing Hair NGC XF45 $1

This rare 1795 Flowing Hair Early American Dollar has been graded XF45 by NGC. The Flowing Hair design appeared on the first United States Silver Dollars in 1794, but only lasted until sometime in 1795, when it was replaced with the Draped Bust design. This is the 3 leaf version of the reverse side. Although the 1794 Silver Dollar is more rare, represented by approximately 150-200 survivors, the 1795 Silver Dollar still has a very high demand from type collectors, which keeps the prices high.
