No seal on the end of the tube; is it missing or does it come with no seal on the end of the tube!

Worried that it was tampered with! Toothpaste tubes usually have a seal on the end when you unscrew the cap! The package was sealed both ends soI thought it was Okay but now I am feeling sick and have a fever! Help!
