One thing that is subtly implied but not really highlighted is that Laios' party are technically high level seasoned adventurers. To reach the Red Dragon area they have to travel veeeery deep into the dungeon.
yeas , of all the party his party were the most knowledgeable and skilled adventurers
@@falsnamae3511that mandrake scream would've killed anybody else but all it did to Marcille was turn her into Derpcille for 2 minutes. We need more Derpcille. Lmao
@@falsnamae3511 Tbf the newbies getting killed by a teedling toddling mushroom speaks less of Marcille’s high ability and more of that party’s unbelievable incompetence. I’m not even sure what parts of that mushroom are supposed to be deadly. They can pick it up, so it’s not dangerous to touch. We didn’t see it expel any spores. I think that party just sucks lmao
The mandrake scream is much more concrete proof of the main party’s skill level. I was so confused when exposure to the scream wasn’t too harmful. Yeah, it’d be bad if there were other life-or-death things going on and someone got incapacitated like that, but it didn’t kill or permanently damage the brain like it would have for the sacrificial dog/big bat.
Dwarves are often depicted as highly skill artisans, so while they might tromp around awkwardly, they apparently can have a delicate touch.
I'm pretty much anybody very skilled with kicking nose that chopsticks are extremely versatile for things like frying food safely. Bit of a learning curve, but I see chefs do the chopstick frying thing all the time.
You seem to forget that dwarves are also masters of smithing, brewing, and making jewelry. All of which require delicate touch.
I wonder if he can do ballet too 😂
Chilchuck is a half-foot.
The series will provide more information about his race later so I won’t speak too much. But there’s one thing about half-foot that they didn’t mentioned in Anime. (But it’s mentioned in Mange during the same scenes)
Chilchuck(half-foot people) ‘s body weight is very light. That’s why he can walk on the traps without triggering it
That explains why he was bracing himself with the backpack as he jumped on the trigger plate. 😂
For a more solid measurement, by D&D Enlarge/Reduce logic, the average halfling/half-foots weighs approximately 1/8 the average weight of a human despite only being 1/2 the height, so a 150 lb/68 kg human is the equivalent of a 18 lb/8 kg halfling
Adding to this, the World Guide has a comic that explains their names. Half-foot is a name given to them because their feet are half the size of the ones of Tall-Men. And they have other names in the common langue, like halflings or little people. They do have a name in their own language, but it's inappropriate to say in the common language.
All this is being a joke on how "hobbit" is copyrighted, which is why unlike elves and dwarves, every fantasy setting has an unique name for "hobbits".
@@sirbig8292 the name is copyrighted? Tf? 😂😂😂
@@i_am_the_monkey_king Well, Tolkien's works aren't public domain. Anyone can write about elves and dwarves but if you are actually writing about Legolas or Gimli, then you are using characters from a pre-existing work. Hobbits are the exception, since Tolkien invented the entire race, including the name. This is why no matter how close to hobbits they are in a setting, they are called halfling (also a term that comes up in TLotR, but not their official name) or some other term.
The source of all this is actually D&D. Back in the 1970s, the first edition actually used various terms straight from Tolkien. The Tolkien Estate sued Dungeons & Dragons for using the words dragon, dwarf, elf, ent, goblin, hobbit, orc, balrog, and warg.
As a result, all but hobbit, ent, and balrog were ruled as public domain. These were renamed to Halfling, Treant and Balor in DnD.
Marcille's face when she gets stunned by the mandrake looks hilarious.
She became Derpcille. Best girl in history. Lmao
6:10 It wasn't until relatively modern day that we understood really anything about nutrition. There are a lot of "diseases" that are almost never see today because it turns out they were from lack of certain nutrients.
Well the British admiralty in the 1800s realized scurvy was caused by a lack of fruits in particular, even if they didn’t understand the specifics they realized allocating lemon juice to ships as part of a sailors rationing would prevent the disease.
2:35 Snakes and I think most reptiles lay eggs with soft shells.
That is true
I rofled when Laios went full chimp mode to save the elf.
He returned to monke
This episode had 2 great things introduced: Primal Laios and Derpcille. Lmao
6:10 It is obvious that eating right, sleeping enough, and excersing makes you stronger . . . but can anyone actually accomplish all three?? 😅😅Storming a castle seems easier to me than going to bed before 12. 💀
the storytelling is so good. you'll be surprised to see how far the author goes with the concept, she did an outstanding job exploring eating and making it look like some simple cooking show at first
fr, it warms us up with the theme of consumption at first but deepen it up along with the dungeon ecosystem and further in about "desire" as the core of the mystery
man im loving this series, the dwarf is literally me: i am a fantasy dwarf irl i just lift and blacksmith and read and focus on being the dwarfiest human dwarfy dwarf now i need to learn how to cook these sorts of fried dishes equivalent(dw i won´t use bat)
love the world building in this anime
@13:52 yup....those mandrakes are screaming carrots
4:35 It just means you fully understand what is thought to you
6:03 I only do eating and sleeping. Well what do you know, I'm 2/3 on the way to their level.
9:41 Episode 3: Pandemic in Dungeon
Last time I heard of a person who ate a bat.... He became a Rock Star, Go Ozzy!
Also the disaster elf never ceases to disappoint (entertain)
This anime has one of the greatest story tellings ever🔥🔥🔥
1:12 There's a detail: Marcille's ears and her mom's ears.
Shhhhhhhhh
8:02 Notice how she imagines herself. (Yes, I read the manga, no spoilers for the others please)
this is such a great series
She DID try the method with the dog if I' not mistaken. She didn't say "I'd feel so bad for the dog, she said "I feel so bad for the dog", i.e. the dog that her and whoever might've been with her killed while pulling mandrakes
Along with being the party leader Laios is the monster expert of the group, if you haven't noticed already. He studies monsters, that's what he does.
The way this series goes, everything make sense
Love your reaction. Subscribed.
14:00 c'mon dwarf in every genre famous for their craftsmen not just their using hammer or axe. They famous for making weapon, armor, accessories. In isekai shokudo the dwarf making glass beer so dwarf using chopsticks for cooking are thing you can imagine
Please react to ishura . It's fire 💥💥💥
I aint even touching sus eggs unless they are boiled until it feels like you're biting into tyre.
1:35 Very lean meat isn't very filling.. I remember reading somewhere (but cannot verify) that when the Lewis & Clark Expedition was in Washington that they ate multiple pounds of elk meat (very lean) per person per day.
9:36 technically it was probably because someone ate it, without properly cooking it. I mean, heat something till every decease is dead is ancient method that worked throughout most of the human history, and only recently people started to try some weird shit, like cheese with maggots
Also wet meat markets are insanely unsanitary which is great for viruses and bacteria to grow and spread
Started watching this show when I saw your short of this part 9:36
Her affected by the mandrake is me after a CoD match with my friends
This show is so good. This, Frieren, and Solo Leveling is leaving me with such a good feeling this season.
Those eggs look pretty typical for snake eggs.
haha.. we filipinos in bohol eat bats.. not all filipinos though😁
I would like Fresh Aniki to continue watching Delicious inDungeon.
Guys 10 MORE LIKES CMONNN
