In this Las Vegas food review, Derek and Catherine rate the dinner buffet at The Wynn Las Vegas. Is it still one of the best buffets in Las Vegas? As well as all you can eat steak, shrimp, and crab legs, the buffet at Wynn offers all you can eat sushi, dim sum, pizza, and fried chicken, and some of the best vegan food on the Las Vegas Strip. Specialty stations like made-to-order all you can eat tacos, pasta, and pho are among the popular foods on the buffet. For the most expensive price of this Vegas buffet, is it worth it? This isn't cheap food on the Las Vegas Strip, but it's some of the best food at one of the best hotels in Las Vegas.

I don’t know how I feel about the line skipping premium. It implies that they are purposefully leaving empty seats to charge more.
Theoretically you could never get a seat if there’s enough willing to pay. Seems ridiculous to me.

Many yrs ago when a lunch buffet was @$20 it was worth it. Now a days I would never eat my moneys worth…even with the strategy of avoiding pizza, salad and breads.
My wife and I lived at the Wynn for six weeks back in 2013 , very long story , we had an amazing time due to very unfortunate circumstances, the Staff where absolutely amazing, we met the man himself Steve Wynn , and In my Five years I lived in Vegas nothing did and nobody does it better period, we where not even gamblers but Steve Wynn gave us a lifetime pass too line jump the Terrace point Cafe and the Buffet, sadly we live in London so May never return , but Wynn and Encore will always be very special too us , and it goes without saying you two do the best food reviews , so glad your back ❤

I did this when I got married, wife was from Europe and never seen anything like this before. Worth every penny, she was literally blown away.
I heard from my daughter this buffet is excellent. Where she stays at Wynn she gets a free line jumper at the buffet. We both will be staying there January 2024.( we were just in Vegas).

the chicken and bisquit.....the bisquit looked very dry and like it was sitting out for long time, the chicken looked tough and rubbery and dry..

I lived in Vegas for 13 years, in the 90’s and 2000’s…I miss it so much..! When we first moved there, food was very cheap..Prices started to climb, and are now outrageous..We used to eat at the Station Casinos buffets for less than $3.00 per person. I miss those days..!! I used to take my son to one of the tiny casinos, which are on every street corner, and buy a hamburger and French fries for $1.00..!! The burger was so big, I used to cut it in half. Too much burger for one person. More fries than one person could eat..!! So my son and I had a huge lunch for 50 cents per person..!! Ahhh..memories..!!

I love you guys! I actually live in Vegas and as a local generally stay away from the strip. You two make it easy to find exactly who has the best food so locals can make a visit to eat .. then “exit” the strip😉

I'm old. I remember when Vegas was cheap. I don't really care to gamble, so there's no real reason for me to go to Las Vegas anymore. Old school Vegas was such a blast! 😕 It makes me sad.
I'm old too.....and I don't like gambling either. I've never been to Vagas so I missed the good ole days....and I don't like crowds and paying ridiculous amounts of money for stuff that may not be that great ! Oh well.. sad for me.
1960s or 70s Vegas will be on my bucket list when I invent my time machine

Wynn is my favourite hotel on The Las Vegas Strip and Wynn Buffet is my favourite buffet but I would not pay $45 for immediate entry to The Buffet. I would wait for the hour you said it would take to be seated.
First trip I made to Vegas in 1977, I believe the buffet prices at the circus circus were, breakfast $1.99 and dinner $2.99. Still remember at the breakfast buffetbthey had a big OJ machine that had a guy feeding oranges in it to make the juice

Catherine's voice is excellent for broadcast journalism, perhaps even anchoring.
She also has "the look" of smooth professionalism and on-camera presence that the networks are looking for.
Catherine is young enough to return to college to pursue an additional degree in broadcast journalism, should she want to do so.

You both are correct. Steamship Round is best in a simple roast beef sandwich on white bread with a bit of horse radish/ mayo. I do not know why it is not done more often. It can literally feed a hundred people for less than any other bar or lounge meal.
I like how you are now sharing plates, but not in a strange way like that Australian guy and his mother.
You guys are a 10 out of 10!! ... You & Las Vegas = 'Perfect Pairing' as they say in the food world!! ... Mouth watering deliciousness from start to hawaiian cake - Derek looked like he was composing a symphony until he ran into the chocolate cake😂 Fantastic video!!

Charging a fee to get seated right away? Man, Vegas sure knows how to invent fees! Glad when I'm in Vegas I do not stay on the strip or partake of all its silliness. That being said, the buffet looks great, and I would easily pay the buffet price, just not a "get seated right away fee".

You guys always make my mouth water. Honestly I would not $ that much on a buffet, when I could have a better sit down experience at the same price. Also, I wouldn't be eating pizza which wastes such precious stomach space for the good stuff. ( I believe that's their strategy to maximize profits. ) Thanx guys - I love tagging along.👍👍👍💫💫💫
To me, if you eat pizza it can be tempting at times. It’s not worth it, pizza on a buffet in my opinion and I agree with your statement.

We were there last weekend and it was incredible. Loved it and I don't think I have seen a great buffet like The Buffet at The Wynn in a looooonnngggg time. We loved it and we can't wait go back.

I do like the food that you showed, however: Upcharging for instant seating, now that is criminal to me. Also the buffet was poorly maintained, food scraps everywhere and it looked dirty/ unkept. If you charge prices like that, it should be maintained on a regular basis. Thanks for a great video - it was very informational and helpful. That buffet is a pass for me.
The chicken scone was based on a french vol au vent which is a puff pastry case filled with goodies.
Welcome back to Vegas. Thank you for your video on the Wynn buffet. Everything looks very good. Not sure if we would pay the extra charge, to be seated quicker. Please let us know in a future video if this charge is common for las vegas.

Glad you returned to LV; it shows in your enthusiastic Wynn video. $100 to move to the front of the line is not right. Assuming you are not a high roller, some casinos here in California have an early reservation system. You get in line at 10 AM to get a reservation time for that evening; with the wait being 30 minutes or less. Catherine's "carnivore" meat comment was hilarious. Consider trying the buffet at the M; it's cheaper.

I so enjoyed catherine and you when you go into these buffets everything looks delicious, and Derek every time you roll your eyes when you eat something great I get such a kick out of it and catherine is always so sweet and so cute when she talks about what she’s eating in describing everything I really enjoy you two . But I must say it was someone costly to go to this buffet but I think very well worth it. Anyway, I hope you have a beautiful evening. WOW. $45 to skip the line and you still have to stand in line inside ? $220 for 2 people and you have to serve yourself ??.......and there are maybe 3 employees working behind the counter ? Sorry, but for this highway robbery the food better taste amazing and jump up and dance the macarena too ! This is crazy !
I paid like $50 for Bacchanal a few years ago. Felt like I was robbed, it was underwhelming. Went to M Resort, paid like $20 or so and LOVED IT! Staff was so much nicer too. The Strip is all about money.

I was there last year...definitely the best buffet I've been to. Every dish was delicious. But it's not cheap.
Amazing but so expensive! AYCE buffet at the Palms Casino has all you can eat lobster on Wednesday nights for $65 per person.
I could only eat 4 lobsters when I went. Great deal delicious times. Lol 🎉🦞
