would have been nice if you measured the thickness of the thermal pads so ppl could replace them since i heard gigabyte puts some wanky stuff in these cards
Always. Get yourself graphene silicone vram pads they are good for 40mkw. I myself will be adding copper pieces, aluminum pieces , 18mkw thermal paste. It's a gigabyte product they put trash pads in top tier products
worst gpu is over exaggerated (forgot the blower 5700xt or basicly every old nvidia cooler?), the cooler is just not that capable thats why u need very good airflow overall. the design is more for appeal than for function and thats basicly what u bought it for because if not u didnt do ur homework and thats ur problem.
@@Morketman Comparing low tier blower style cooler with highest tier cooling which people pay premium for? Now that's something... When people pay 1300€ they expect something to be of good quality. That's Gigabyte's highest tier 2080ti and it's dogshit compared to Strix and Gaming Trio, while being the most expensive of the three, usually.
@@deyoviC as I said they went more for style than stats and that's basicly what he is saying in the video. Yes the price is too high for the cooling performance but it has one of its kind blingbling capabilities which gets the price up. As I remember the strix went for roughly the same price but I could be wrong. And as I said once again if you paid 1300 bucks for a Rtx2080ti which it is but expected benchmark scores and oc capabilities of a strix its your fault not the cards one. The card itself is high grade its just the air cooler that's a bit weak and that's why I consider the waterforce gigabytes highest tier card. Just checked the prices and in Germany the strix was even more expensive so blaming a card being shit if u just expected something else is just an easy excuse for your failure to inform yourself before spending a stupid amount of money.
@@Morketman Now go to the 2080ti Aorus XTREME and see what's their first key point. Not their lighting, but the cooling. I will quote it for you. "AORUS provides the all-around cooling solution for all key components of the graphics card. We take care not only GPU but also VRAM and MOSFET, to ensure a stable overclock operation and longer life. WINDFORCE STACK 3x 100mm cooling system is the most innovative cooling solution that provides the most efficient thermal performance for the graphics card." "THE MOST EFFICIENT THERMAL PERFORMANCE". None of what they said is true whatsoever. That's fake and misleading marketing. And I personally didn't buy this card, but my friend did and he paid 1350€ for it. His GPU goes up to 86C and fans are spinning at 100%. It's like being next to an airplane that's just about to take off. He doesn't even use the lights we bought it because of the marketing about "best cooling". :)
Can you tell me, please, thickness all of the thermal pads were used in that card?

I would also like to know that
me too.
yeah that would have been awesome, cant find it anywhere on the internet.
FF for this. i want to replace thermal pads and paste on the same card.
@@ShiroTV1 might take it out soon and measure it myself, will update then.
changing thermal pads on this card, will improve its temps ?

Box is that big because two other models with hybrid coolers also exist
This GPU is fire. Literal fire. Sitting at 84c with 100% fan speed. Worst GPU I've seen in years.
Yep, I regret buying this card so much. Never buying an aorus gpu again.
