    Sir,can a student discover drugs and how much does it take and also processes to set up a drug industry

    • @Pharmaoffer
      @Pharmaoffer  Před rokem

      Good question. Yes, a student can discover drugs. However, it's not easy to bring it to the market. Usually, those startup companies work with CROs or CDMOs to develop it from the research stage to the release of the drug. We made a video about it; you can check it out here czcams.com/video/cF1gEYLoT_k/video.html

    How do we decide the method of analysis and find out the impurities?

    • @Pharmaoffer
      @Pharmaoffer  Před 3 lety

      Good question!
      Typically you would follow the pharmacopoeia that is relevant for your country. So a British company would follow the BP (British Pharmacopoeia), someone from the States would follow the USP (United States Pharmacopeia
      ), someone from Italy would follow the EP (European Pharmacopoeia) et cetera.
      For each API, the methods of analysis and details about the impurities can be found in those pharmacopoeias.
