I don't use toppers much. But when I was learning to keep the ball atop my car and boost simultaneously it helped knowing where the center is. So I could keep the ball on the windshield easier because I just needed to keep the ball in front of my topper. Nice little center marker they where.

How is the new player experience for Rocket League these days? Basically, is this the kind of game where you have to be grinding every single day to stay competitive?
I enjoy playing and watching myself get better, but I generally stay out of ranked matches in most games. I usually just play for fun.
