Instead of pressing "return" to move to the next page, use "Insert" > "Break" > "Section Break (next page)." I have learned to do this both for the Title Page and starting the Reference Page. This way, references can be added as they are used without the added corrections of removing "return" spaces (the reference page will automatically move to the next page). Also, by using "return," when the document is downloaded as a Microsoft Word Doc, the formatting will be wrong. When I first started using Google Docs, I was marked off on formatting because of this.
Helpful, but could have been shorter without the creator's commentary on his preferences of Word vs GoogleDocs.
