It's not haram .... The coat should not be tight which exposes body shape ... As long as it's loose and modest you can wear it ... I prefer long coats .. if your coat is long enough you can skip abaya as well and please don't spread misinformation about Islam because there are already many people doing it...
wearing coats isn’t haram and no one has said it is. what haram is wearing a coat that shows the shape of the body including the arms and shoulders. a khimar that is long enough should be worn over the coat.
