I did the same job on my Spider a couple of years ago. I changed to an electric fan at the same time.
I have the same twin Dellorto setup you have, so our cars sound EXACTLY the same. It’s always reassuring to me to find a video that indicates my car sounds like it should.
These cars are such a pleasure to work on. Granted, on my car the battery is in the trunk, which gives me a lot more room around the alternator and water pump.

Thanks! Only with water. But I know there are some additives.
