Hello, I'm sure you posted an excellent video of the balancing and tuning of twin dellorto carbs on your Giulia. I like to use it to check my own carbs but I can't find it on youtube. Very fine video! So much fun with such a small engine in wonderful nature. Nobody needs more power and sound to have maximum feelings. 500 hp and more are only a permanent challenge, but no more enjoyment! Believe me, I know in my own experience, what I say...

At 2:13 in your video it appears that the rod with the ball on the end is bent on the clutch fork. I know it is not bent but it is not straight with the clutch slave body but at 8:43 in the video it is in line with the body of the clutch slave. Mine still looks bent after changing the slave. What am I doing wrong? Am I supposed to pull the fork out of the bell housing another click?

great video. Glad to see you posting again. I have a 2.0 to put in my 69 Giulia Super. I rebuilt the carbs based on your videos. I will start to prepare the rest of the engine soon. The car body is currently being painted.

You definitely want to remove the lower sump cover to clean out all oil residue which is left behind after the original oil was drained. Went the same route and you do not want to know what oil sludge is still there which you do not want to be pumped around in the engine.

By “new” I assume you mean “recently acquired.” 😉 Are you satisfied with 50psi? What were you hoping for? I’ve never measured the pressure on mine… I just hope it’s something greater than the 5psi shown on the dash gauge!
