Just finished finally getting the 3 coastal and 3 bluewater kills. 2 hours of utter misery and torture of getting annihilated by auto-aim. Now I don't have to play naval until the next dumb naval battle pass challenge unlocks.
That doesn't look too bad, do you need to use a specific vehicle?

Pd: I personally don't play naval battles, but your naval battle videos make me want to. I like your videos, good content, by the way.
If you’re good enough to get rank 3 boats this shouldn’t take very long… which premiums are you using? If you play arcade the torpedoes regenerate which makes this even easier
@@DOLLARplays No, it's WAY less bad than usual. No specific vehicle other than rank iii or higher so I could at least use bluewater to fight bluewater. I guess you could even use planes. The harder challenge will be the 7 torpedo kills using bluewater that unlocks in a couple days.

As a naval player, I love these!
Worked my ass off to get enough BP challenges to buy USS Frank Knox.
Was in 4.7 match and it kicked ass but uptier? I've been humbled way too much by being one-shotted in magazines and 8 out of 10 matches i ended up in 5.7 range so....yea.
I also have USS Detroit when i was going for either Aussie Centurion or EBR 1963,not too sure but even with it,i tend not to do well in 5.7+ matches.
I ended up taking a permanent break from naval modes due to this lol
Ground RB and heli EC are only the modes i 'enjoy' nowadays.
Now on break from WT and your videos are great to watch during my off-time from WT before i decide to walk into the hell again.

id like to see you do a video or a series where you pick a navy nation, and go down a single line of the tech tree, going down 1 ship when you die, but trying to get no less than 3 kills before you're allowed to 'advance' as it were. start in the coastal tree and when you finish it you get to go to the bluewater tree

7:57 @DOLLARplays Use the HE-VT shells instead of HE to kill small boats. You can even reach them, if they are hiding behind a rock and HE would just fly overhead. I play in Arcade, so more planes there at that BR, so cannot live without HE-VT there as well :).

Every time Dollar drops a naval vid, I strongly reconsider installing WT again after managing to get free and clean from it almost 3 years ago.

Yeah. I ended up putting like 1500 hours into it and, while that's not huge compared to the professionals or people who've been playing for a long time, it was actually becoming a problem.
I still adore your videos, though, because they capture the highs of great runs and the absolute lows (even for the pros), and always with your excellent brand of humor!
If there's one mode that I'd like to go back to, it's naval. I'm too slow for tanks, really, but the bluewater fleet slugging matches really do it for me. I can't let myself get sucked back in, though. Just going to have to rule the waves vicariously through you.

you should do a challenge where you play 1.0 first and the amount of kills you get you use that br. the higher the br the less kills you will probably get, so 11.3 is like rly hard im guessing.

That ammo explosion around 17:56 just looked weak. I mean, the magazine of a BB goes up and there's no shockwave, no real fireball, no sudden smoke cloud obscuring everything! It looked more like a big sparkler.
They definitely could improve that
