Honestly I've never played a match of this game but I love his videos. I'm a World of Warships player so I have some reference on this type of game but overall he just cracks me up. Excellent sense of humor.

As a French main, the pain was immeasurable, but not nearly as bad as the fight to finally get a Mirage in this game.
Ikr, we didn't have none of these low speed stabs or fancy tank destroyers back in my day (I think), you got through BR's 1 through 3 from the experience you got from dying just like every other French boi did before you!
As soon as you get out of tier 1 for France it's all good times. The planes are even decent in tier 1 and get very good at tier 2 and up.
la même lol, carrément j'ai eu le a10 et le f5 US avant les mirages tellement l'arbre fr est rincé niveau avions à ces br du coup je galère. Finalement heureusement que l'event de cet hiver m'a permit de gagner le m2000-S4 sinon j'aurais jamais eu la foi de reprendre le farm des avions fr
@@whatdothlife4660 the harder french br's in my opinion is arround br 7.7 - 8.7, at br 7 you got good autoloaders but at the 8.0 you lack of stabilizer, at thoses br it's hard without one ). And arround 8.0 for Air battles, you got shitty jets with shitty armement.

France was the first nation I really mained in, and boy was it a little painful as a F2P player.
I generally enjoy sniping, so the Lorraine 37L was my favorite low tier french tank, that is, until I get CAS'd in it lol. It always had the punch I needed to get through almost everything, even through the T-28's black hole machinegun turrets.
The D2 is my favorite rank 1 because of how tanky it is, and thats my favorite part about tanks in general. Haven't played it in quite awhile, so it was quite a shock to see that it was given the B1 bis 47 mm HE shell, but it is quite a nice addition, and I'm glad to see it
Once you pass 1.0 vehicles, from 1.3 France start to shine
Imagine grubdig france before the TD and the d2... The amc was the only good tank below 2.0, for me I got to task both worlds as those weerre added while I was grinding the tree. And it was truely painful in BD (before D2)

The Char D2 is one of the very few tanks I never died in while spading it and researching the next lineup. It was so much fun to play, and a sign that France gets far better after the 1.0 nightmare.
That player in the Pz 38t just spraying everywhere was absolutely hilarious, never before have I felt so well represented in a video game 😂

i remember back then i always tried the commander of the SAu to get knocked out looking slightly to the right or left knocking on enemy tanks with the MG, so it would end up stuck in a diamond shape while using the main gun, getting rid of the weakspot

Naval would be quite fun, since the best way to gain xp is to take the 1.0 torpedo vessels and the free blue water ship so you get to play at 3.0 BR straight ahead. And go David Vs Goliath with the 1.0 torpedo ship. It's very cool.
That, or I could just start from 1.0 and reach destroyer br🤔

My favourite when grinding the french was the amc. The mobility was just better. The other french stuff that low was just too slow. The 47mm TD was fun too.
