Very cool. I combined your two videos with the two Weeping Willow guitar videos of this and now have a good sense of this. It is one of those things where for years I was trying to learn it and I learned parts but the last couple weeks learning to follow the melody better in my head and bounce between difference voicings for many of these chords and it is all coming together. That F# sus2 is such a great chord in this song and listening to live performances and playing them back in my head then playing them and writing them down is great. I just did that for Dupree's also..
Did you learn this just by ear, or did you figure it out by watching him? I’ve been playing guitar for over fifty years, and I just decided I wanted to play Cassady. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to learn from you, or try to figure out Bob’s chords, myself. I have very small hands, so I’m sure I won’t be able to play all his chord forms. I’m very impressed with your skills.
One of the great things about learning all these inverted chords from Bob is appreciating how much a gained listening to McCoy Tyner opposite Coltrane. Here's one of the Coltrane tracks that Bob often cites. I feel learning rhythm from the perspective you're offering us here puts us on a path to better appreciate tracks like this one. Thanks so much! (Looking forward to your breakdown of Bob's iconic 'The Other One' when you get around to it.) czcams.com/video/oFd8UMB0HEc/video.html
You're the only guy I would make it through such bad audio with ;) Great stuff...I've been looking for that jam transition to G# and now I got it!
Best Weir breakdown I've seen or heard yet! Keep it up~I'll keep coming back! Thanks!!
Truckloads to come

I learn by ear and watching videos of him…the inversions I’m doing are his inversions
Glad I found this for the outro jam we worked on today👍
