Very interesting how these words come together to form other words. I learned a lot of them as their compound word but didn't know where the first part of the word came from. Now I know!
And we should remember that not all 'ㄷ받침' changes into 'ㄹ받침'. Keep it.
안녕하세요 선생님 i am confused of 건너가다 and 지나가다, if crossing the road (traffic), use 건너가다 right?
건너가다 means 'to move from one place to another across a river, bridge, road, etc.'
And 지나가다 means 'to pass by a certain place or spot'.
So, 'to cross the road' is '건너가다'.
@@KoreanArah so 지나가다 can be used as "Times goes by"?
@@user-jm5ot2ip8z Yes! You can say '시간이 빨리 지나가요!' or '시간이 빨리 가요.'.
Since the video is about just how the words are made, it shows the main meaning only.
If you check the dictionary, you can find more examples.
