I have this //coz i have auto immune disorder and hell I have to bear the pain always no permanent solution nowhere..sometimes i have to take antibiotics for 5 days. I am already pn other medication so problem is hellllll for me, I have Lupus
My GP said nothing you can do. It stays there. Grrr
Help i am desperate i cant find anything on this anywhere the one thing i can find on it is taken down, i have scar tissue blocking saliva in my parotid glands causing chronic pain i have an ent who helps me treat it with surgeries and in office procedures i drink plenty of water massages when it doesnt hurt to badly to touch ect ect, i am tired of the chronic pain i dont want to remove my salivary glands are there other permanent options? I am tired of losing sleep to the pain it is currently 4 am on a school night and it hurts to much to sleep i am tired of this please i'm desperate someone help

I am soooo sorry . Ive been going through the same thing , it's my fourth time getting it back and the pain is unbearable , i haven't slept in a while and painkillers go only a short way . they tell me there's nothing much you can do for this . I'm desperate as well . I wish there really was something you could do about this .
@@arunajay5191 i get that a lot, i am actually dealing with it right now but since then i found a lot of things to help it, such as making drinks with lemons or just drinking lemon juice, or warm compress it helps but sometimes distraction is the best medicine :>

I was in tears when i found your comment cuz i was looking through CZcams for solutions and it felt nice to know that i wasn't alone !!! Does it make one side of your face look different from the other ?!? I'm also dealing with confidence issues . Also i really hope it just goes away someday for you !!! Thanks for replying !!

Same here...My son 11+ he is also suffering this problem for three years..when takes antibiotic then it goes but after some days it returns...Dr. says to surgery but it is 100% risk...then what should I do...May God helps us __no one has this problem of parotitis thats my wish__cause I am suffering with my child so many years...😭😭😭

Hope this helps, visit a maxillo facial specialist and also enquire potentially on microscopic surgery or something like that where you use a microscope to unblock the gland

my paratiod started swelling bcz of mumps but now after 2//3 days i have no pain like normal but swelling is still their nd its like shifted towards my lower cheeks nd its not going ...looking like very chubby lower cheeks
