Hi Sandi! Thanks for posting the video, this is the professional way of achieving a perfect result. I am glad you mentioned the size of the balloon & the Pinterest issue with "photo shoot" balloons, they are not suitable, will not last & static is not reliable as you said. I do mine the same as you do & have confidence when they go to a venue that they will stay looking good xx

Hi Sandi! Love the info! If I use this technique on my clear balloon the night before the actual event, how much float time would I gat if the event isn't until 4pm the next day?
with the hi-float the balloon should float for several days or even a week or so. It's always best to do a test to see how it will work in your environment though. :~)

Hi Sandi, I love watching your videos. Your tips are really helpful. Just wondering if I wanted to make air filled confetti balloons what should I use to make the confetti stick inside of the balloon? I tried using modpodge but it leaves stains
It depends on what kind of confetti you're using. If it's glitter confetti, like in the video, then use hi float. If it's paper confetti, you need to try to build up some static in the balloon to get it to stick. :~)

I wouldn't do them more than the night before. You want the best part of their life to be at the event, not waiting for it to start ;~)

I have only just come across this video... do you find that the hi-float works with tissue confetti? my colours seem to run and they clum and tear... any tips? thank you
Hi float is tricky with tissue confetti. Usually the better, but more difficult option, is to create static inside the balloon so the confetti will stick to the sides of the balloon :~)
Does the balloon float not cloud the clear balloon? Do you use a particular make of clear 16"? thanks
yes, the hi-float should keep it from getting cloudy :~)

I'm still working on that. It's a matter of building up the static inside the balloon, but I haven't figured out a way to do it so that it stays yet.... stay tuned, I promise I'll make a video on it when I figure it out :~)
Is using the ribbon as the confetti common? Never seen that done & it was so pretty!! Do you ever use the tissue paper way dor confetti?
I don't know if it's common, it just seemed an obvious solution to me. I use tissue or other confetti sometimes, just depends on the look I'm going for...
Hi sandi, I tried using Hi-float on my 32 transparent balloons but it looked messy and the confetti did not stick , what can I do to avoid that?
What kind of balloon were you using? If it was a bubble, that's the problem. If it was latex I'm not sure why it didn't work... :~)

The tissue paper gets wet and icky with hi float :( It's better to try to create static inside the balloon to make the tissue paper stick to the walls of the balloon :~)
Hi may i know how long will it start to oxidise?
Depends on the weather conditions. If it's outside it's faster. If it's in a casino or smoky environment it's faster. So it's all relative I guess ;~)

How many pumps of high float for 36" balloon?
for a 36" balloon, one full pump with no clip should do it, but on the hi-float website they should have a guide telling you the right amount per balloon :~)

Sure, why not? You can even use a 5". The only time that the size is the issue is when you're using helium and need to think about the weight for floating. :~)

So I followed the tutorial. I noticed after about an hr, the balloon was no longer clear. The hi-float turned a powerdy white. What would you suggest i do? Can i used something else to substitute the hi-float. Did i use more than I should? I only used a drop
I've never had that before, you might want to go over to the hi-float website and ask them. :~)

Where do you purchase and what size are those? Also, where can I purchase high quality latex balloons? I always seem to get the ones that you can almost see through as opposed to a solid color. It's very frustrating
Will it work with 11"?
I don't recommend it. The 16" balloon holds 3 times more helium than the 11", so has more lift power. Once you add the glitter and hi float it might be too heavy to float in an 11"
My clear balloons always come out cloudy from hi float. Why are yours so clear?
Are you using latex or a bubble balloon? Hi-float in a bubble won't dry properly so it will look streaky and cloudy. In a latex balloon it should dry clear :~)

The balloons won't float if you inflate them with air or by mouth. If you are hanging the balloons and don't need them to stay right side up, then you don't have to use helium :~)

you would do the same thing with hi float and air, but it won't float. It would work for hanging though :~)
