In this video, I’m cutting back my Shasta daisies that aren’t looking so pretty anymore.
Also, I harvest some fresh mint and garden sage to dry inside brown paper bags.
Lastly, I do a July garden tour and harvest a few vegetables.
I grow in-ground, raised garden beds and garden grow bags.
I am a small space gardener who grows lots of food to feed my family in a corner space of my suburban backyard.

My banana plants have always been outdoors. FYI - they are ornamental banana plants.
Rob, I tried growing the real deal 🍌 but they did not over winter well.
I do like the tropical look that these offer to the backyard. 😊

GM! The majority of my banana plants are in the ground. I did start some new ones in containers that will go into the ground sometime next year. Thanks for watching!
@OCDishChick oh ok great to know. What variety are you growing? I was always scared to grow any since i wasn't sure if our growing zone would be fair enough to grow them. Didn't want to keep taking them in and out of the high tunnel.
