i rotate rival rb50 / venum hammer / mk1 select / boon lace / fairtex bgl7. I feel bgl7 is the best bag gloves for my medium hands at this price range, but you've peaked my interest with BGL6 breakdown. thank you

Nice rotation 👍 All fairtex gloves that I've used have been hard to beat for the price. Love BGL7 on the bag also hard to beat. Full review of BGL6 will come soon 😁

Great review. I own the Bgl7s in red and everything you said about that glove is correct. It takes a while to really break in, and the wrist support is 10 out of 10.

Hey great breakdown, I got the bgl7s (16oz) after your video 👌, just got done with the first session with them doing mitt work
Quality is amazing and I like the feel of the connection on bag/mitts, only issues I have is
    1) Although I’m trying to land with the knuckles I feel the base of my fingers (the part that you crack just above the knuckles) taking most of the impact and now after an hour session it’s very painful, I felt pain quickly during the session but just ignored it. Wondering if you had the same experience? Should it fix after the break in period?
    2) my pinky finger only on the right glove is super squished with the ring finger leaving it quite sore, maybe I should get the bgl6 for a bigger finger compartment? But I still want that pop on the mitts
Really appreciate any suggestions /guidance, great reviews thank you 🙏

@@zakariya5110 Hi good feedback! I do really love the BGL7 but they do have an extended break in with initial discomfort.
I didnt have any issues with my pinky or that part of my hands hurting but i wear rival gel wraps 180" using thicker handwraps over the ones they come with.
16oz version were super stiff for me all round and the roll bar at the finger tips was uncomfortable super hard also for a good 12 rounds of power shots or so before they were softened & ready to go. I have too many gloves to break in so I do break in with power shots on a stiff heavy bag. With normal break in will need more rounds. It could be that the stiff thumb seem is stopping you hands from sliding all the way in and connecting below the knuckles instead of the knuckles. I had to put socks in the gloves overnight couple times to streach out the seem to be able to use them.
After that the whole glove shell conformed & softened including roll bar at the fingertips to a perfect fit but it was work. Im just about finished the extended break in on the foam full review coming soon 🙂

Would 10oz bgl 6 be more on the protective side or more on the puncher's side?

I havn't tried them in 10oz to be honest. I have felt some fairtex 12oz models that have had stiffer foam than their 16oz models increasing protectiveness. Because I havn't tried them I cant confirm for BGL6 if they are stiffer more protective or softer more of a punchers glove.

I'm considering which one is the best for boxing overall because I'm not a fan of muay thai tbh

One glove for all long fingers BGV5, one glove for all short to medium fingers BGL6, maximum protection tight fit bag/mitt work light sparring BGL7, will update on full sparring after another 20 rounds or so break in.

which do you recommend for sparring? I’m 173cm 55kg

For your height and weight sparring probably the BGV5. BGL6 is a bigger glove has a super long cuff and roomier hand compartment than BGV5. Im 182cm and BGL6 is one of the longest cuff gloves i have. Its long on my arms but i like long cuffs so doesnt bother me, on yours it would fit longer.
