- Yep, GOG is back with a rather interesting (and kind of unfair) shootout. I'm running through most of the gloves I own right now, ranging from Masters' bag gloves to beginner Everlast Powerlocks to faves like Title WBC training gloves to Fairtex lace ups and my old stand by, the BGV9 model.
This is a fairly quick run through, but I'll tell you what lasts, what feels good and what doesn't.
A spoiler--I've actually put close to three years work into those Fairtex BGV9s... incredible gloves that last.
And more coming soon.
Meanwhile, fight picks here (although I already got one wrong with the Diaz loss): thecorners.pl/boxing-picks-for-feb-15-17-foster-vs-nova-curiel-vs-nontshinga-the-return-of-jo-jo-diaz-and-mauricio-lara/
I have it in 12 and 14 but the meaty part of the thumb palm area is tight where the piping is and causes pain. Hoping they will break in. The 12 oz feels more tight.
Which ones?

@@gogboxing5655bgv9 in 14oz fits me much better but I really like the slimness and light feeling of the 12oz. I’m trying to stretch it out first to see if it helps lol
@@jacedragon How much do you weigh? You may simply have hands that need bigger gloves.
What oz is ur fairtex bgv9 ?
I only use 16 oz gloves.
When I first got them, they did squeeze the thumb when I was sliding the on, but they felt great/still feel great once on my hand.
