Everyone knows he could have played against the pacers but Joe knew we would be in the finals and he DOES need rest he's been hurt in recent years but ten years from now no one will remember he didn't play for a while because hopefully we're champs
facts! No need to let the Mavs know how healthy he is. KP probably will hit a lot of 3’s this series since Gafford can’t guard the perimeter so even less impact on his body

Hopefully hes good enough to move on defense. Luka and ky will test him. If not joe, better implement scram switches like what was implemented by Brad during the IT era to keep KP in the paint/corners.
best defensive matchup for him this series is PJ or djj. or if off the bench, kleber or hardy.
I agree. His rim protection is where he is needed and that requires explosive movement.
@@knowsmebyname not just that. He'll need to hold up being hunted in switches. He should be fine in limited mins if mazzula brings him of the bench. That means he comes in when either luka or ky are sitting or tired.
Give 18/25 minutes in game 1 to 2 & he need increase a minutes in game 3 to 4 etc
Hes not 100% no one is this is the finals nothing left to rest for. Give it a go see what happens.

He's not ready physically yet.
Bro could take 2 seasons off and still would not be 100% . I rooted for KP when he played for my Mavs but unfortunately constant injuries and being in and out of the lineup never allowed Dallas to settle properly and unfortunately he never lived up to the expectations like I would have liked him to, dude can ball when healthy. Wish him the best in the finals tho .
