Frenzo Harami- The Harami Lifestyle

  • Going to prison at the early age of 17, getting stabbing multiple times, the notorious British Pakistani rapper explains his choices, circumstances and what Islam means to him.
Our youth are increasingly becoming inclined towards the street lifestyle to a point it is impossible to brush it under the carpet. Sadly a lot of us have become out of touch with them, so we can't get to the root of the problems. Here I sat with Frenzo to tap into that world so we can use this as a case study to use to help/understand others.
Not talking about these issues, will not make them go away. 'Otherising' and 'dehumanising' these people will not encourage them to reform. The more someone is astray, the more they need our understanding and affection. Anything can happen to any of us before we die, we pray people don’t give up on any of us.

This guy has my respect because unlike the other preachers and other religious authorities out there, he makes a genuine commitment to connect to an otherwise disenfranchised group of youngsters in the muslim community. There is no question as to whether or not a life of sin is the right path, but approaching young and impressionable minds from a place of understanding and compassion as oppose to a vindictive one will bring so much more people closer to Allah and the beautiful religion that is Islam.

100% bro this is the way, there are many who are disenfranchised by the glamour despite coming from a very good family home. My own cousin doing 10 years for a life he chose only for the glamour despite living a very comfortable life.
Others it's poverty and they are sorrounded by crime. But this approach is practical. Each generation has different challenges and we must adapt to them to reach out not just berate them for their ways.

500gsm A ur thinking about it the wrong way. This is a man who lives a bad lifestyle, has recognised it and is trying to change. This interview was of a man who was warning us of such a lifestyle, and advising us against it. Theres gonna be different value when u hear the words from someone who heard about something and from someone who has lived through said thing.
Obviously everyone would be against interviewing someone who would glorify such a lifestyle or in the example u gave would glorify prostitution. But if its someone who is actively trying to change and can share their experience, advice and provide hope for the youth who will be the future of Islam then whats wrong with it?

I'm watching this interview and I have realized that Frenzo Harami is less of a Harami than those who portray themselves to be non-Haramis. Frenzo is a self confessed Harami so you know what to expect whereas the other fakers act self righteous and are internal harami's. I hope it makes sense.

respect. Great to see Z invite Frenzo.. Frenzo appears to be a good hearted person with good intentions apparently. Nice of him to be open n honest and be himself, thats his greatest APPEAL to audience tbh.. He brings the good/bad the ugly whatever he been thru like a reporter but yea atleast he doesnt CONDONE such life, this is sign of Imaan still present in Frenzo..but ye has some inner demons to battle n overcome, we pray that he does so,..
I love how Zeeshan kept it real like a bro talkin to a bro... it's whats He been missing like he said, good ol'relationships in family r priceless.. the street got him a bit paranoid but hey thats streets.. in islam, the brotherhood is one of the gifts of Allah, we love it. Money can buy everything, but can it be authentic relationships? naa it's 1 of the reasons.. a believer will be under the shade of Allah's throne on qiyamah... to love to meet a brother for sake of Allah, true genuine reason, nothing to gain but wishing ur brother a good faithful life..to help one another on the journey of life.. Great work Zee bhai :) love you for the sake of Allah.
