What was great about this concert was that, during Comfortably Numb, David was actually at the top of the wall like he was in the original tour. By some happy coincidence, all three (Roger, David and Nick) were all in London at the time. I believe there’s a clip somewhere on CZcams of Roger and Dave doing Comfortably Numb together, it was a one-off though

Their strengths and weaknesses complemented each other so well from a musical standpoint… Roger’s lyrics, concepts and song structures, along with David’s guitars and beautiful vocals. Not to mention the enormous contributions of Richard Wright and Nick Mason. The whole was greater than the sum of the parts. Which is saying A LOT… because each of the parts were pretty damned amazing in their own right!
Dark Side of the Moon was my first rock album. It was an obsession. Roger was a brilliant writer,David was a brilliant musician & voice. They both need to realize it would never have happened without both talents. I wish this happened today but it was 10yrs ago😕
Good news...They do actually realize that... Unfortunately in their minds the Bad outweighs the good when it comes to working with each other. I believe much of their material they were able to put that aside and get the work done, but that can only last so long! They hung it up at the right time, and are both happy with what they were able to accomplish together and I've heard David give Roger quite a bit of recognition for what he brought to the table. I personally can't stand Roger but it's still my favorite band and I can see it was only possible with all 4 and wouldn't have ever become what it was without #5 (Syd) as well.

Meaning he sees how the world could be or should be, and so he kind of throws punches in the dark. Remember Roger started of as an introvert who just played bass in a RnR band who, as he said, mostly sat in a corner smoking and snarled, then he basically, inadvertently became "Leader" eventually of this timeless, popular band, and with that and a few critically acclaimed "hits" he became someone with a voice and when you don't curb your opinions someone's going to get hurt. I was at the O2 arena in 2011 , could have been 2010 , I can’t remember exactly , but David and Nick came on . David played the solos on Comfortably Numb and it was excellent .
