    Hi Dave,
What is your opinion on adjusting the front track shock ? I’m wondering about
Adjusting it to reduce preload and increase suspension travel, also wanting to run limiter strap long but trying to reduce ski lift . I’ve heard it will help crawl up on the snow better.

making the limiter long will allow the front end to come up more, not less, sucking the limiter strap up will keep it down but too much will make it push and not ride well or be fun.

I have always ran the front track spring with as little preload as possible without losing retainers. That will give you the full use of your track and allow you to use the full suspension travel potential.

Hey Dave, thanks for all your advice! What position do you run the width stance of you machine, middle, narrow or wide?

Hey Dave, I read somewhere you enjoy the Summit X for everyday riding more than the expert.
I switched to the expert on my 2022 turbo, locked out the t-motion and feel the sled is very touchy to rider input. Of course, I can always get my skills dialed in more but could it be possible the expert is too sensitive to rider input? I plan on possibly switching to the summit x on my 2025 snowcheck - what are your thoughts?
In the meantime, is there anything I can do to my 22 expert turbo to make it a bit more forgiving?
    Thanks Dave!

The Summit x with expert package is 15-20% more work to ride, yes t-motion locked out will side hill better when its hard or icy but most who believe the t-motion is to blame for washing out etc are wrong it is the soft bushings in the ski that allow the ski to tip up and stop the sled and when it stops the skis the back end washes out. Chris Brandt says the t-motion is washy, but take a c 3 carbon skid he uses and flex the rails, they flex more than t-motion as if it did not it would crack. I ride the easiest sled to ride and currently that is the summit x which is why i ride it. most of the team likes the expert but also has a t-motion summit x as well.

Also the summit x with expert package in 2022 is like the summit x in 2023 and 24 but it is easier to ride due to g5 chasis, it may be the 34 front end that makes you feel twitchy on it but you will love it in time, also salazking bushings from www.riderasmussenstyle.com is key on all the ski doo sleds especially when you run it in the narrowest set up 34 inch front end

Do you run with the sway bars or not?

I found it fine with the sway bar in but Steve Martin takes it out!! Try it, that is the fun!!!
