For all Maul's genius it amazes me he didn't just tell the Jedi that Sidious was a Sith lord to make him easier to overturn.

Chazz Burke would that not mean that the Jedi would have am amazing chance of winning? For Maul, the Jedi were always the true enemy. Why give them that much of an advantage? Good point though. Thought of that too.
Chazz Burke yes it would of been smart to start the two sides even more against each other, but maul hated the jedi just as much as sidious and probably wouldn't consider talking or relaying information to them, plus plot armor

@@verbalkint4258 I personally loved the prequels. It has so much continuity it’s almost overwhelming. Although you do gotta admit that some, not all, of the dialogue in the movies were god awful and forced. But besides that the prequels are a masterpiece
@@friendlyfriday3445 Yes, its undeniable that there is cringy dialogue, specifically in episode 2, but I still love them all the same. They really helped expand the lore and they made me get into Star Wars, they were the first star wars films I saw as a kid.
@Gustavo Vasconcelos they had standard dialogue and not nearly as bad as "I don't like sand" anakin as a child knew how to flirt better lol being called and angel is more or a flirting than telling her that you hate sand and the "I have the high ground" scene I'd maybe even worse its so out of place and doesn't make sense!

Considering that it was Grevious who wiped out the night sisters, he earned the honor of delivering the final blow against Talzin.

@@ninjacheetah9784 blame maul he actually turned dooku to the dark side by killing qui gon plus he did not want to that darth sidious planned to kill ventress and when dooku betrayed her and then this turned ventress and nightsisters against dooku darth sidious was behind this not dooku not yoda not maul not ventress not obi wan not darth vader it was palpatine/darth sidious
also palpatine trained maul as his apprentice
And than not long after all the pain dooku felt he was betrayed and replaced by Anakin Skywalker,

Talzin is so underrated easily the 3rd most powerful being in the entire galaxy during the clone wars (apart from higher beings like the Whills or the Mortis gods) the fact that she had the edge over Palpatine says enough and even when Dooku joined in she still held her own

It's outstanding that within the canon universe they actually made the amazingly interesting Mother Talzen as powerful as she was. The nightsisters and their strongest sisters add, in my opinion, some desperately needed depth to the ranks of the galaxies most powerful beings. The unique method Talzien acquired and grew her power to the point that she could stand toe to toe with Palpatine honestly should have played a far greater part within the canon universe. The very few mentions of her and/or the sisters within the many books is truly wasted oppertunity at it's worst. I'd love a novel that gets into great depth and details about the nightsisters rise to their peak of power including their influence within the galaxy and the Republic/Empire eventually culminating in this final demise of mother Talzen.
Knowing Disney, I am certainly not getting my hopes up for such a thing.
I think that was always the point, she had a lot of potential but she lost and so she became irrelevant

For what? Legally the Sith are an ocult order like the Jedi aswell that are not forbidden in anyway, just forgotten for 1000 years. For the people of the Galaxis Paleptine at the other hand is the all loved chancellor of the Republic while Maul is the leader of a terrorist organisation.

When I was younger I always liked Maul, but as I grew older I began to like Dooku more. Anyone else feel the same way?

Maul was too far gone from any hope for redemption(from a light side/dark side perspective), his brother Savage Opress had better chance of being redeemd.

@@sorjonen8358 Vader's fall was due to the aparent betrayal of his friends and allies, the death of his love brought him over the brink, but Luke (and also Leia but more Luke) was a beacon of hope for him that even he couldn't bring himself to kill. Maul however was raised since young as a ruthless warrior and in turn adopted as a Sith Apprentice, even his Brother Savage he saw mostly as an apprentice to teach his ways and that was pretty much it, while indeed his presence did help maintain his sanity somewhat as seen how he ended up in Rebels. At best Ezra would have just tempered a bit his madness but not much else.
@Roy Fokker Laughable? You should really read the comics lmao. He was always in constant conflict with himself and always managed to "kill" Anakin and bury him deeper. The fact he lost everything and believed he had nothing but Sidious was the whole reason why he decided to even serve him from the very beginning. He was destined to redeem himself. I mean did you miss the part of him being the chosen one? It's pretty obvious. Maul on the other hand had no chance of ever redeeming himself. As a young boy when taken under Sidious was always taught that the Jedi were the bad guys. He literally ate the ashes of dead Jedi when he was training on Malachor. He hated them a lot more after Obi-Wan cut him down. What makes you think he would "redeem" himself and somehow join the good guys or be a good guy? Lmfao

Mother Talzin Vs Sidious was epic!
This is something minor but I would love to see more scenes with grievous and palpatine together
That was fabulous that's what I thought about this series. I love seeing a lot of action Bessy. May the force be with you as well.
Who knew that it would turn out that Talzin was actually good mother to Maul as she was willing to give her life for him.
This could've been the best arc in The Clone Wars, probably would've been my favourite, as my favourite from the series was the whole arc where Maul and Savage put the shadow collective together and took over Mandalore. I really hope they make this into a arc when the series returns.
Imagine a cornered Sidious, battling both mother Talzin and Maul - she is so strong with the force and so old, she might actually be able to overpower him under the right circumstances. Here it seems Sidious really struggled and only defeated her with Dooku's help.
But eh, Sidious is a Mary Sue in his own right - he ALWAYS has a plan. There is ALWAYS another layer. He is not omniscient. How I would love to see him suffer for once...

Well, he was trained by Darth Plagueis, he spent most of his life studying the Dark Side, inherite thousands of years of Sith patience and wisdom. Probably planned during decades what we know happened. Yeah, totally not a Gary Stu, he earned what he got.
At least we know what happened to dathomir. I played Jedi Fallen Order and it was said that an armored Jedi wiped out the night-sisters.

So was their a specific reason as to why Maul didn't try to use his lightsaber to kill Dooku and Sidious while they were fighting against Talzin? Like Dooku would've been an easy kill he was severely weakened and injured from the torture and lightning and Sidious was actually struggling against Talzin so he wasn't going easy on her and trying to defend from Maul at the same time would've been quite the challenge
Sidious or Tyrannus would kill him with force lightnings

Honestly, now that Rebels is done, I think it might be a good idea for them to posthumously finish and release the unfinished episodes of Clone Wars- they clearly had some progress done on them, and the storylines are mostly written out now. It’s just a matter of animating them, rather than writing out all the scripts and such. Maybe as a Netflix event or on their official CZcams, like the Lost Missions were, and later a home video release.
