Excellent description of setting up tools and protect the flypress! Thanks
Thanks for sharing. I've been slowly working on tooling for my flypress and this has given more some more ideas.
I use bolts with an unthreaded shoulder for my flypress tools. I like bolts because I orient one corner to align with the front direction of the tool when I weld them. Then I grind off the other corners. Helps to see which way the tool is pointed. Especially important for me with my touchmark that I weld onto a bolt.
You are a big help, just got my flypress set up today, can now make tooling from your video
This was a great video, thanks for posting on CZcams.
Learned alot from this video. Thanks for making it.
Very informative video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience 👍🏻
Great Video. For some reason there is not a lot of videos on CZcams on Flypress forging and tooling. There is a Daniel Moss one and Black Bear Forge one that I know of. Always nice to see what other guys are doing for ideas.
Useful stuff thankyou for sharing
Hi mate noticed your tools are held by a bolt. I just snapped my screw dose the bolt work well 😆
Still waiting on that “fly press in use video”. I’m still trying to get mine going and need inspiration brother.
