so annoying entering codes from the app and it just brings you back to the log in who tf made this you need a backup code to log in
Right, it's so annoying. As soon as you get into the account turn it off, it's so dumb to have it on when we don't even know we have it on.

Oh snap, maybe try another internet browser, or if your on your phone, use a computer or if your on a computer, use a phone. If not, try them in the same process tomorrow. If that doesn't work, you can reach out to support, and they will send you a reset password.

I’ve tried using every single backup code and they don’t work. Then it tells me if I want new codes I have to do it in my account but I can’t login without the codes 😂
Yeah that sounds about right lol your going to have to contact them and just try the codes that you do have kn a different search engine. My eventually worked out of nowhere.

Yeah, that's how mine was, it's annoying. Keep trying the code every day, but just make a ticket and tell them that you can't get into your account with your codes. They will send new ones, then when you log in immediately go to your settings and turn two factor authentication off lol
I have my backup codes but Idk where to put them in, I put them into the authenticator app thing and it keeps sending me back to the login screen.
Try to use them on a different browser, example if you on the phone and you have chrome another same for if you're on a desktop or if you're on computer try on phone. If they all don't work then reach out to customer support they will help you Mon- Fri, they do respond though.

So Ik I said same, because I was having the same issue. But did you get an email when you first set up your 2 step? They give you like 8 backup codes to use. So my best bet would be to check your email. Although 2-step verification sucks…
Yeah, they send hecka codes. If not, just email them for new ones.
When I try to use my backup codes and press continue it makes me download a file called third party login 2fa and it doesn’t do anything. Anyone know how to fix this?
Try to switch your search engine. Sometimes, it gets stuck.

@QUiNn-hv2bd Try your to log in on your phone or If you on your phone try on the computer. All comes to fail just make a ticket and tell them the same thing you told me, alot of people have been saying they have been messaging fast and today is Monday ,so they should respond this week.
If you can login without the backup code or Authenticator, go to support and create a ticket and make your complains, they will send you an email , still make a complain that it didn’t work then they’ll remove it for you
Am trying they sent me an empty back up codes can you tell me what u told them the first and the second time please cause I complained and they sent me an empty back up coded

Idk activision for you lol, try to do the same thing either on a pc or a phone if on either one go on a different web browser. If doesn't work try the next day with different codes, if not working contact them to send new codes. It's really annoying.

@@mefazrirr for me what worked is instead of going to a 3rd party platform like signing in through steam and using backup codes there I just signed in through activision and the codes worked

Guys in warzone mobile it ask for 6 digit authenticator code but the code in mail is 8 digit i didn't backup the authenticator pls help
Oh snap, I'm not sure about the warzone mobile. But if you have the same info for call of duty on console than I'm sure you just do the same step.

Yeah, but they do respond it may take a min lol but they will hit you back, just let them know you need the codes.
The thing is I found my codes but they don’t work
Try another day and another browser. Mine took a couple of days to work, I actually tried different codes every day and one day it just ended working. If it doesn't just contact them.

Your going to have to email them and tell them what you told me, and they will verify your account and send you new codes to your new email.

When you log in it will ask for the codes, if they don’t work then just make a ticket with them and tell them they don’t work. They will send you new ones, when you log in go to your settings and turn authentication off so you won’t have to do that again and change your password to something you remember.

Don't log in with the main site, go to the support and log in with your console info. Then send a message to support and tell them the same thing you sent me and add a new email address so they can send you the codes.

Yeah you have to try heck of them, they'll just randomly work. You can also try different browsers.

See I eventually said fuck it its not worth playing Call Of Duty anymore if just trying to set up 2 Factor Authentication makes my blood boil. On top of that the game installed this morning and had all day to install the packs required for me to play which they did install but I open the game and the game is telling me that they aren't installed. So yeah I figure this is the universe telling me to not play Call of Duty.
Sounds about right, they don't make call of duty like they use to. SHAME

I'm not sure about mobile, but you can send them a message, and they will send you new codes for sure. They will respond on the weekday they don't work on weekends.
