    Mostly BS with some way too expensive models. I love the "mid-range" moniker on the Bosch. Mid-range at $2,000 -- I'm so sure! Simple solution: For 99% of you who need a free standing oven, buy the GE JB750 series. I got the JB750SJSS. Best range I've ever owned and about $800 at Home Depot.

      I like the $800 - $1200 price point as well. Its a working hu/mans pricepoint. Reliable and safe. When i get a bit more money then i can upgrade. After its hard earned. 2k is alot of money for a stove. That would mean i would use the stove for more home cooking, which is a good thing too.

    I'm not sure how Samsung got on this list. It is very unreliable, and will not make if past two years of service without an error code. This goes for all brands of Samsung electric ranges.

    Dont buy samsung. I did then I regretted. Paid 2500$, take care of my oven with little use. The thermostats broke twice and now the head unit (550$) should be the cause of the unstable temperature. I contacted Samsung, they told me they cant do anything for me except to refer me to a repairman. The oven has only 3 years and I personally think that it should last more than 3 years. And guess what, I'm not the only one with this problem, reddit is overloaded with samsung story like mines. They do nothing! Put your money in another brands, dont get fooled by the good looking of the unit.

      Our family purchased the fridge, it is worse than terrible. 6 years old and only able to manage the colling and freezing at the price of 3000. Plus it as physically falling apart.

    Yes i want an electric stove but all of these are really fancy. I want the one with the old school coil in the center.

      Hi there! We are curious, why do you like a coil electric range vs. a smooth-top? Is it because of aesthetic, familiarity, etc.

      @@DesignerAppliances when im being a lazy bum on the sofa, i can see if the oven is on or not. I wont carelessly think the flat surface is a countertop and place a plastic carton of milk on the stovetop.
      I actually thought a while about this reply as well.
      Its like the glowing wheels from the 50s and 60s. The technology is there but its not practical.
      And the pricepoint for foolproof technology is out of the common persons reach. Hey thanks for replying, beautiful store.

      @@whitealliance9540 Thanks so much for your response (and compliment) - it is so helpful to get feedback like this so we can understand why people choose certain things :-) You make great points - have you looked into induction? Advanced technology indeed but most likely you won't melt a carton of milk since the heat dissipates much faster than electric and only reacts to when a pan is on its surface.

      I’d like to see the old school solid element stoves come back. Gas is not available in my house so I have to choose electric. I don’t like the smooth cooktops. I use a lot of cast iron and I’m afraid my cast iron will scratch or crack a glass top.

    • @loosegoose5841
      @loosegoose5841 Před 3 lety

      @@DesignerAppliances The modern ones seem like there's more that will break. A coil element is an easier fix than glass top troubles.

    I can't believe you just said the words, "Samsung's commitment to quality and high tech features..." Samsung is the WORST BRAND in the ENTIRE INDUSTRY for quality. THEY HAVE NO QUALITY IN THESE PRODUCTS. They make cheap, short-lived appliances. And they do it on purpose. It's criminal what they are allowed to get away with these days. And you ignoring the truth, and spewing these lies makes you just as bad as any of them...
