A little girl called Eva and her dad are hunting in a post-apocalyptic world. Eva slips away from her father, and ends up stumbling into an underground library, where she makes a curious encounter...

One of the best short films that I've watched bar none. And about one of the best places in earth. The library. Where everyone is equal and help each other out. Thank you librarians!
Perhaps one day Eva will be able to repair Leo from the knowledge she acquires from that library.

I was writing that in My homework that After he has enough Knowledge he can Fix Leo but needs the tools too or he can create his own tools. Either way works i just hope he Fixes him.

Also, dont worry about Leo, M'lady. Being animatronic a single part of him will not end him. Simply go to the instructions manual and find the ways of repairing him. You can read now :D

I love the robot design! You can see the inspiration from other works, especially the arms from Laputa.
This was amazing. I loved this video: Curiosity and learning to change your life forever, and sad that a basic violent impulse can take over and change everything again.
GardevoirPokemonLover at least his legacy lived on. Leo taught Eva, and Eva taught her tribe. And to be fair, the scene the father saw can easily be mistaken as something he'd need to intervene in, and hesitating could have meant his daughter's death.
sadly it will happen in the near future. more and more people nowadays are afraid of books.
I'm not good at english, but some english books open my mind and change my life. Love books, love authors and archivists. Thank great ESMA!

I love ESMA videos. This one was very good. It's crazy how the world can change and leave entire buildings like a library forgotten until the inhabitants literally fall into it. Didn't really like that part of the dad going violent on an innocent being, but all the same understand his violent impulse. His daughter will look at her world with an educated eye from now on. Maybe she can teach him as well.
Such lovely animation. The robot reminds me of Big Hero 6

Soyez indulgent avec le papa, il pense protéger sa vie... D'autant qu'il s'arrête immédiatement quand sa fille le lui demande. S'il avait été un monstre, il aurait tout brûlé et interdit à sa fille d'y revenir.
Pour les étudiants, chapeau ! Toutes les vidéos que j'ai pu voir sont magnifiques ! La qualité est au rendez-vous !

i think it means that if people hate books then they should read more, like other people they learn more words from books and you never underestimate the power of reading

J'ai été vraiment touché par le court métrage qui est magnifique. Vous avez bien montré et j'en suis vraiment enchanté la barbarie de l'homme, la destruction, la désolation etc... Alors que l'enfant représente la bienveillance et surtout chez une fille qui ne sont jamais représentée comme tel. J'ai été blessé par la mort de Léo, c'est très triste.

I was really touched by the short film which is beautiful. You have shown and I am really delighted barbarism of man, destruction, desolation etc ... While the child represents kindness and especially a girl who is never represented as such. I was hurt by Leo's death, it's very sad.

i like the fact she started to teach the others to read and did'nt stop going and she kept reading and learning new things .

Centuries after the robot uprising, the last bot meets its end, in an ironic finale of man vs metal.
Une très forte sensation, tant sur le plan de l'histoire porteuse de symboles que sur le plan de la finesse et du détail de la représentation des personnages en particulier Eva et ses cheveux.
Bravo à toute l'équipe !

This is cute, because Eva reminds me of my daughter. I'm not entirely sure why what appear to be ancient Celts are wandering around a futuristic desert (we burn easily) but this would be well worth a sequel!
It looks apocalyptic, imo, so chances are humanity nearly met it's end and we basically devolved. Seeing her find all that wealth of knowledge, and now knowing how to read, it's suggesting she'll be the one to lead people back to a more civilized state.
Oh, are you Irish or Scottish? Sorry for interruption but I really love Celtic culture!
The story is great, yes. I want to see how Eva will change this wild world!
