I watched this performance more than 10 times, i dont undrestand Russian but I cried every single time. With Gagarina language is not a barrier, she makes you feel more than you want to! She is my all time favorite singer!

Yes, a really powerful song and strong vocals. Perhaps Polina Gagarina can claim to be one of the best world singers of the early 21st century. I agree with the previous author that in order for a song to live, it must be sung. And those who are dissatisfied, just consider that Viktor Tsoi and Polina Gagarina sing different songs.

Don't you know the stereotype about Russians, that we have bears, pets instead of puppies (just kidding😄) The custom says that if you hear the cuckoo singing ( for Russian speakers, this is the sound of "ku-ku"), then you need to ask a question. "Cuckoo, how long will l live?" And then count. How many times she will sing without interruption the sound of "ku-ku", so many years you will live. Of course, no one really believes in it, but still everyone starts counting when the cuckoo sings.

Chinese Singer Competition is much different and in all respects ... a much better organized competition and with much more human warmth and honesty than are similar to "Western" competitions. My compliments both for the organizers and for all the contestants, but also for the Chinese audience who delighted me with their joyful and sincere support to every participant. I enjoyed the Chinese Singer Competition and with joy I watched all the video footage from this contest on CZcams. A Polina ?! Ah, ah .... ah ?! Thank you for sharing your reflections. Yes, I'd agree that "A Singer" is a very fortunate format, strong and flexible enough to accommodate very different vocalists from all over the world. I'd say this contest is a new manifestion of reborn Asia and a powerful breakthrough of cultural colonialism practices. The format of your reaction is very lucky, I like a big picture and a good sound of the performance itself, and some introduction before the show and broad thoughts-sharing after it. I'd increase your face picture in that last part of the reaction.

Абсолютно верно! Китайцы сделали грандиозное шоу и это начало чего-то большего, "Чемпионата Мира" среди певцов. Возможно. Хотя... есть большая проблема: Кто будет решает, что это лучшее певцы? Мы знаем, большое количество рейтингов, топов, наград, премий... например, "Оскар" - кучка стариков выносят вердикты фильмам, "Евровиденье" - друзья друзей и деньги решают. Всё фальшиво. Может у Китая получится сделать что-то, чему можно верить. Желаю им УДАЧИ!

And yeah i had expectations for World's Best to be good but...when they eliminated the Chinese acrobat doing handstands and cycling ON A WIRE, AND the magician whose trick i still don't know how is done, and put the ventriloquist above them i was just shocked. I thought it was going to be in the exact reverse order. Anyway, rant over xD

В отличии от Димаша, Полина умеет вновь и вновь удивлять своим невероятным голосом ,не понятна истерика по Димашу,который безспорно невероятно исполнил две песни на Сингере и всё ,все остальные песни на порядок ниже тех двух . Полина же удивляет каждой новой песней ,её потенциал восхищает !
Никогда не дотянет до Димаша. Хотя бы из-за того что у неё нет 6 октав,как у Димаша. И по реакции зала, тоже даже нет половины эмоций то что было у Димаша.
Димаш только актавами и владеет, а Полина проживает каждую свою песню, у нее поет все: глаза, руки, тело, она создаёт не только превосходный музыкальный ряд, но настоящий спектакль в лучшем его проявлении. И Димашу этому ещё учиться и учиться. Одного дара недостаточно, чтобы стать великим

This movie is based on a true story of Lyudmila, the most prominent Russian female sniper during 2WW.
