I've watched four people do this operation. Either I'm deaf or none of you folk have clearly explained which line is the fuel return and which is the in-flow-suction line. One person strongly directed pushing the fuel filter down into the portion of the tank that lays under the recoil unit.
Hey Daniel the location of the line in the tank really doesn't matter. If you're not sure, the line with the filter is in-flow. If you're still not sure just pump the bulb with both lines attached one will pump out the other will suck in. Just note the suction and install in the tank with filter attached and make sure the filter lays in the bottom of the tank. Hope this helps. If not let me know.
