18:43 nicely done. Just one criticism, when you point out something with your finger and it’s dark where your pointing, shine that light on what your talking about. I have the 223L and to find an image or diagram where the fuel lines go, searching on the net, just down right a waist of time. You did a great job explaining this and easy to listen too. You’ll go far, thank you!
I love my 223L, flawless machine since day one! I just bought a 525LST and cannot believe how much power it has & the smoothness is magnificent. You do notice that extra pound but barely. My only bitch is with EPA of course. Weber 22 splined carb vs 21 on 223l, so it sucks to adjust it with no tool! I just made my own adjustment tool, screw'm all. Idk why they cant understand we can read step by step instructions as well as any shop mechanic. Oh of course we have heroes on youtube too! 🫵 I see people with wired chokes to keep their engines running. Now that causes more pollution than theyre turning screws too much/little. EPA is creating way more pollution issues blocking simple adj. Hell' I leaned to adjust one as a kid in 60's, we all had gas airplanes & cars, I had a motorcycle at 9. Just because they dont want to adjust their own chit, they think nobody should, its just ridiculous! Btw- The Husqvarna/RedMax engine surpasses EPA emission standards even without a cat muffler all the others need, they still screw with them. No pleasing the a holes. My suggestion is buy a few 2 cycles before they stop making them. Its coming, heavy 4cyc or stacks of batteries are your future without 2 cycles if you own acres like myself.
I like it when guys are honest enough to show their mistakes 'cause we all make them. Being able to figure out where you screwed up so you can fix it is the important thing. I just wish you had shown removal of all the screws when taking it apart. My 223l had screws buried in muck at the bottom of the recoil housing and muffler guard. I had to clean the unit before I could even see them.
Not replaced mine once in 13yrs...Only primer bulbs been changed once & spark twice on plugs. Excellent unit, had to adj carb a couple times. Still starts within 2 pulls hot/cold.
Btw, pump gas since day one. I only buy Top Tier fuel, use Stabil and never store with gas over winter. Start fresh gas each spring...only buy a months worth at a time. Ethenol causes issues after ages cause it draws moisture. I own 4 trimmers & chainsaws, 7 mowers & a gen, never any issues with it. Read about Top Tier fuel and stop buying trash at convenient stores before it destroys all your engines, cars too. TopTierFuel ..go read up!
For sure not to clear about the fuel line reattachment between his fingers and the darkness. Next time say things like, “this one attaches to the long tube on the purge bulb, etc.

What's the fuel line size that you used?
I think you screwed the pooch demonstrating where the fuel lines attach.
I did and then corrected myself.

How did you remove the fuel tank and the back cover?
