- परमेश्वरले तपाइँलाई पश्चात्ताप र बप्तिस्माको तहसम्म मात्र ल्याउन चाहनुहुन्न, तर उहाँले तपाइँलाई पवित्र आत्मा र आगोको बप्तिस्मामा ल्याउन चाहनुहुन्छ। तपाइँले उद्धार प्राप्त गर्न जसरी सुनेको वचनमा विश्वास गरेर येशूलाई आफ्नो प्रभु भनेर मुखले स्वीकार गरेर उहाँको वचन अनुसार जिउने फैसला गर्नुभयो, पवित्र आत्माको बप्तिस्मामा पनि त्यहि सिद्धान्त लागु हुन्छ। पवित्र आत्माबाट आउने हरेक कुरालाई वचन सुनेर विश्वास गर्दा तपाइँले आफ्नो बनाउन सक्नुहुनेछ। त्यसको लागि पहिला तपाईलाई पवित्र आत्मा र आगोको बप्तिस्मा दिनु, अनि उहाँको आत्माले भर्नु परमेश्वरको इच्छा हो भनेर निश्चित हुनुहोस्, अनि विश्वास साथ प्रार्थना गरेर परमेश्वरको प्रतिज्ञालाई पक्रनुहोस्। धेरै पटक परमेश्वरले दिनुभएको प्रतिज्ञा र हाम्रो वास्तविकता/अनुभव विपरित हुने गर्छन्। तर यदि तपाईले केहि अनुभव नगर्नुहुँदा पनि परमेश्वरको प्रतिज्ञालाई विश्वाससाथ पक्रिराख्नु भयो भने तपाईले त्यसलाई प्राप्त गर्न सक्नुहुनेछ। विश्वास गर्नुको अर्थ अनुभव गर्नु होइन, तर परिस्थिति भन्दा परमेश्वरको वचनलाई पत्याउने निर्णय गर्नु हो। हामीले आफ्नो परिस्थितिको आवाजलाई बन्द गरेर परमेश्वरको आवाजलाई सुन्नु, विश्वास गर्नु, र त्यहि अनुसार कार्य पनि गर्नु पर्छ। यसरी विश्वासलाई जब तपाईले काममा ढाल्नुहुन्छ, तब तपाईको जीवनमा परमेश्वरको भलाइ, आशिष र महिमा खुल्न सुरु हुन्छ। धेरै जनाले विश्वास गरेर त्यसलाई कार्यमा रुपान्तरण नगर्दा आफ्नो आश्चर्यकर्म गुमाउने गर्छन्। हामीले परमेश्वरको प्रतिज्ञामा विश्वास गरेर स्वीकार गरेपछि त्यस अनुसारको कार्य पनि गर्नुपर्छ।
God not only wants to bring you to the level of repentance and baptism, but He wants to bring you to the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. Just as you believed the word you heard to receive salvation and accepted Jesus as your Lord with your mouth and decided to live according to His word, the same principle applies to the baptism of the Holy Spirit. You can make everything that comes from the Holy Spirit your own by hearing and believing the Word. For that first be sure that it is God's will to baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire, and be filled with His Spirit, and lay hold of God's promise by praying with faith. Many times God's promises and our reality/experience are at odds. But if you hold on to God's promises faithfully even though you have not experienced anything, you can get it. To believe is not to experience, but to decide to believe God's Word rather than circumstances. We must shut out the voice of our circumstances and listen to God's voice, believe it, and act accordingly. Thus when you put faith into action, God's goodness, blessings, and glory begin to unfold in your life. Many people lose their miracles by believing and not turning it into action. After we believe and accept God's promise, we must act accordingly.
