    Deontay Wilder is more than just a right hand. He's also decent with the left jab, plus he has heart & toughness, further more he has athleticism, not to mention he can take a punch, and his overall skills are not as bad as people make it seem.

    • @meech8236
      @meech8236 Před 6 lety

      Kobies Boxing the skills are that bad, take nothing away from him as a fighter

    • @kobiesboxing4956
      @kobiesboxing4956 Před 6 lety +8

      MEECH !! The way he moved around the ring, and the way he was able to keep Ortiz at a distance to stay out of trouble took skills. The fact that he was even able to land some of them shots against a skilled counter attacker took skills. And the variation of different punches he sometimes throws when he gets a guy hurt is skills.

    • @AntMcQueen558
      @AntMcQueen558 Před 6 lety +4

      He can tighten up a bit more, but I agree... he finds a way to get it done.

    • @toddcollett106
      @toddcollett106 Před 6 lety

      Wilder is just that ,WILD! Got the job done, but his skills are no where near elite...swings wildly like a street fighter. Dropped his hands many times in exchanges with Ortiz. He’ll always have a punchers chance, but if he fights a guy that has head movement and can punch in combinations...GAME OVER!

    • @raava5648
      @raava5648 Před 6 lety

      I was actually thinking the opposite, like he's a one-trick pony with the right hand only. His jab is good but that's nothing special as a good heavyweight. He's like a orthodox Adonis Stevenson, just has that one punch but if it touches you you're going to sleep.

    I'm a Londoner. Born and bred. I like AJ. But Sorry can't see him beating Wilder. Although I would want him to. Aj is way too slow in comparison to Wilder and will get caught in an exchange. Wilder will finish him off. I'm positive

    • @nickg2117
      @nickg2117 Před 6 lety +2

      You're neglecting something very important. Joshua has come in way to heavy for his last two fights. His last fight he was preparing for a very physical Pulev but ended up fighting a quick and nimble Takam. He made himself look very slow in his last fight being too heavy. He's already dropped about a stone for the Parker fight and is weighing roughly what he was when he was too quick and sharp for Whyte, Breazele, Martin and Molina. AJ is far from slow, BUT, if he came in around 250lb against Wilder he would be taking a huge gamble as Wilder has proven 12 round stamina and carries his power even late into a fight as we saw last night. AJ needs to be coming in no heavier than 235-240 for Wilder. If he comes in at this weight he will have too much speed, too much power and too much skill for Wilder or anyone else.

    • @rodgermorrison9395
      @rodgermorrison9395 Před 6 lety +1

      Late rounds in the fight Wilder wins , Wilder would just stay away from Joshua till he's tired then finish him . A.J. would have to win within 8 , he would need to get at Wilder and pound on him fast , or I don't think he can with stand that right hand , it's ridiculous ! Wilder is one of the hardest punchers I've ever seen .

    • @G-Man78
      @G-Man78 Před 6 lety +2

      Nick G good point. We'll truly see.how fast Aj is when he fights Parker. But based on his last few fights, he's not hard to tag (relatively speaking)

    • @williamoleschoolarendt7016
      @williamoleschoolarendt7016 Před 5 lety

      @@G-Man78 1 of the biggest problems with AJ is no head movement! When he does that crap with Wilder he will get his head taken off!!! Plus you are right AJ is to slow. Vladimir is slower than AJ and he tagged AJ easily and everyone who has boxed spared with Wilder and Vladimir says that Wilder hits much harder than Vladimir and AJ almost went down when Vladimir tagged him so when Wilder tags him it will more than likely be a complete sleep knock out!!!!

    Yeh fair play getting behind your fighters thats how it should be. Can you really say though Wilders chin was put to the test and he came through........ it wasnt the hardest of shots and he was in trouble trying to hold etc. He wasnt fighting back and was just trying to servive. AJ being a heavier hitter than ortiz and physically stronger would have put Wilder in a world of hurt that round. That said though he hits so hard thats the danger. Interesting fights coming for the future

    Deontay better learn to do something other than try to land that right hand the entire fight if he wants to beat Anthony Joshua.

    Someone get this man a plate of yams! AJ will get gassed against Wilder, in fact i'm guessing Parkers camp will attempt to take AJ into deep waters too and then JP will unleash combos on him in the later rounds....if.... JP manages to stick and move for the first half of the bout. He should avoid engaging AJ's power game and wait till those big arms start to fatigue.

    *WILDER IS THE BEST HEAVYWEIGHT IN THE WORLD* . You can talk about his fundamentals all you want. You can talk about his size all you want. You can talk about his stature all you want. But DEONTAY IS THE EPITOME OF HEART, DESIRE, and WILL! Top that off with 40lb bricks in the hands of a 6'7 killer with a 80 plus inch reach with a chin, stamina, and athleticism and you get the *OVERALL BEST HEAVYWEIGHT ON EARTH!* Fuck what y'all say the proof is in the outcome of his fights!

      The dude has no Chin! He gets wobbled in almost every fight. He does have tremendous heart though.

    Wilder took so much punishment from Ortiz, but didn't go down once.
    He got hit with a left straight and a left hook from a leftie, that's almost like Wilder hitting someone with a right, and this person to survive.
    Wilder definitely has no glass chin. More like Vibranium chin. Can't be broken.

    Wilder did a good job just like Ortiz did. fighting a left hand boxer aint easy, wilders jabs were frozen for that reason, couldnt make that winning combo.
