Update and editor's note: we were in fact, correct. I test so many vehicles each quarter, that it's hard to keep up with everything.... But indeed yes. The key fob is stylized like the front of the 1,802cc Boxer Twin. And that's the facts.
Test rode one of these, all engine! Love the raw feeling of riding this motorcycle. Only thing I’d change are the shift and foot brake controls. As Adam pointed out, having larger feet makes shifting a bit troublesome.
Since you mentioned orange peel in the frame finish, it's interesting they painted the frame. For a "super premium" bike, I would have thought it would at least be powder coated.
This is an Airplane Engine from WWI and II , this has a devloptime since 1912 . It brings the horizontal Kompression Power to the nicle surfaced shaft like a submarine.
I like the bike, but I would have to get the shiny paint. Not a fan of matte paint. Only real downfall is a lack of place for highway pegs. Not a fan of the BMW solution of laying your legs on the cylinders.
I was looking to test ride the bike at an open house at a BMW dealership. I couldn't believe how huge the 2 heads are. If you hit them, you are in deep trouble. If you add a engine guard, this bike becomes a car. Moreover, if you are a 6' tall, this bike will not be comfortable, its a promise. Once you start the bike, the vibes from the opposed cylinders is insane. This machine was not for me. I read that they don't sell as they thought they will. BMW is trying to provide good insentives to push them out.
Speedo is in the wrong place, gas tank is too small. They need to put a LED cluster, the ability to put a windshield on and off without covering the speedo. Then add 2 extra gallons and you’d have a nice bike 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
The key is same shape as the tank I believe not the engine....
Yeah, I was thinking that as I said it, but it was 'go' time, so is what it is. Thanks for the note. We value our astute audience.

Looking forward to the ride review!
incredible machine
Beautiful motorcycle!
So they still haven't improved the design. They should have put the larger gas tank and beefier handlebar.
Beautiful bike

R18 BAGGER for me.
BMW Out Harley, can Harley out BMW? And drive shaft spins.
Nice one!
Its not a twin, it's called boxer ;-)
Do a wheelie bro!
I wish I would get a new reviewer
Can put windshield like classic?
Why is it soo heavy!!!?? Geez
I still haven't seen a single one on the road.
True same here in Oz
Nice Bike!
The Classic has removable carry totes in the saddlebags. A real plus. Those Rocktane bags look naked shells. 🤷🏻♂️
Looks small…could be bigger
That's what she said.
OOOOOOOOOOH@@jospi2
It’s a great bike but I feel it’s for special occasions. You buy this then you would need another bike in the garage for doing the hard miles.
So, really this machine removes leg hair by driving its air cooled engines.
Also I would say the key fob is cool, and looks more like the gas tank.
If your leg hair is being removed by this engine, that's on you for not wearing protective gear on your legs.
I like that the driveshaft spins.
@@MyFatherLoves Thank you, I was marking a point to how the two cylinder blocks are directly in front of your legs. Just a joke.
God forbid you drop this

I'd be scared to hit the engine on a lean.
Why don,t you get on & ride the thing instead of just talking about it...
Foot placement? Highway pegs? Tip over? Giant no thanks 👎🏻
