People love old vehicles like that even dumptrucks. I love it.
Angela, dear, you are priceless! You are absolutely the perfect partner for Sam. I’ve never seen a better match.
Hope it sells quickly for you guys.
Love seeing your handsome sons, they are learning valuable skills from their parents.
Oh, my, major stress attack just watching you work with all those wires!!
I worked in a wiring harness factory for ten years. Plugged, taped, inspected, audited and packed countless pieces in those ten years.
Old Ford still going strong! Great job guys! Angela, you are a trooper amongst all the men!
Sam, she’s earned some girls’ day!
I really like the way the wires are labeled
Great teamwork putting in the new wiring. A job not too many would even consider tackling. Angela was right in there as she usually is helping. My wife would run the other way..lol
She's eager to get a new septic system! :) But seriously, she was the one reading the BOOK and telling me each step. :)
Omg, if I would open that box and see that bundle of wires, I’d run in the opposite direction. You have waaaay more patience than me.
LOL It took us about 2.5 weeks to get this done off and on. We would work until we wanted to give up, then come back later when we had the gumption to continue. :) Knowing it was our only option and could help us pay for something for our new place was a great motivator.
Did a wiring job on the road in Oklahoma at a truck stop with red sand blowing.. it wasn’t painless.. reason is some of the wires must’ve rubbed through and sparked causing a small fire. We were in a pickle for sure. Took a day to rewrite that old truck. Just enough to get us to our destination. Thank the lord we made it afterwards with no issues! God bless
Good thing the wires have names. It would be really hard for a colorblind guy.
Nice job. You made that look not too painful. Good luck with the sale of the truck. May your cash flow be maximized.
I'm very impressed. What is Angela's and your electrical background? You both seem very clued up. And Angela's cool approach to everything is amazing. She is a gift to be treasured. Keep up with the interesting videos. I love them here in Thailand.
i loved the boy sitting in the engine bay watch dad, then thumbs up when altc was in and done great part
I know, I watched. But how in the world did you do that?! I’m still mystified. You are officially my heroes.
I love watching Elijah ( I think I got the right name) helping with projects. I use to sit on the fender of the car and hand my dad tools while he worked on our cars. Props to Angela for crawling under the truck.
I have to say that you two are very brave doing all this , I certainly couldnt keep my sense of humour going .
It was a tough project. Real time was about 2.5 weeks of work off and on as we motivated ourselves. :)
Angela seems to know her way around vehicles…what an asset!
she’s not afraid of any type of work, that’s for sure.
@@GrizzlyFinance agreed!
She is a rare find in this day and age , not afraid of a little dirt and learning something new.
Well done, team! Hope you get the buyer you need. Keep on keeping on
I love the Jr. in training mechanics sitting on the fenders to watch dad work under the hood. I did not look bored but learning by observation. great memories. I remember working on my grandfathers 53 chevy belair changing the water pump. had never worked on a car but used a motor manual and it worked for years until he traded in early 60's
Love how y’all decide you are gonna get er done and get after it! Love seeing you all working together! Angela you certainly deserve a “Spa” day sweetheart!
Impressive kit . I would upgrade all the tail lights to LED and add a 7 pin rv plug for a trailer. The kit is impressive in how well thought out is.
Oh yeah, if I were keeping it for use, that'd be the first things I would do, too. :)
Way Kool! Thanks for sharing it with all of us! That sounds like the best way to deal with all that wiring mess.
Where do you even know where to begin with stuff like this!! Freakin amazed guys!! I mean it. Hoping all is well guys, Dirty Jersey out!!
I would be so overwhelmed by all this. Good job you two.
Angela’s Can-Do attitude is so awesome 😎!!! That mess a wires would have had me all tangled up 😳!!! Sam & Austin did a great job too ✅✅. Congratulations on getting’er done and on the For Sale list !!!!! Yay 😁
Go Angela for getting in there and working on the truck. You guys have done an awesome job!
Performed the same task using the same wiring kit but with less fuses. I will suggest the wiring going through the left front radiator support and along the rear hitch where you have unloomed wiring going through a wiring clamp or stamped steel cut out to ensure that you place loom on the wiring. The abrasion of the wire vibrating in these areas will cause grounding of the affected circuits quite easily. Little trick to keep your loom secure around the harness is to wrap the electrical tape twice around the wiring and allow the electrical tape to hang while you slip the loom over the area you used the tape then wrap around the loom twice. The rewire I performed was on a 76 f600 grain truck. I added additional grounds towards the rear and also on the bed. The pivot points will occasionally lose connection to ground if they are greased on a regular basis. Good job on this endeavor
It would be pretty cool if Mike Morgan from Outdoors with the Morgans could buy the dump truck he was looking for one to get but that wouldn't even happen because he lives in Pennsylvania. That would be a great collab!
Good job guys. Angela has become a master mechanic.
Great shot of the undercarriage. Recall when bare bone basic ruled the road. Hope the truck sells for the price you list.
Wow.. I would be totally overwhelmed by all those wires and I am not put off by much, I love how the new wires look and when it started I was so happy for you guys so well done .
It was daunting looking at everything at once, but one step at a time and we got there. :)
My hat is off to you making rewiring the dump truck interesting. Hopefully you can cover all your costs associated with the dump truck when you sell it.
Oh my gosh! I was so confused.😂🤣😂🤣🤣. And you did it. You guys are awesome!
Wow...blew my mind...wouldn't begin to attempt that job...great work done by all 👏👍😊
painless is a great brand for wiring , they even mark every wire for there function across the whole length
put the old wiring in a box to show at the selling of the truck , proof that you replace ALL the wiring , makes the truck worth more
Love how you both work together as a great team! Love those Feral babies!thanks guys
Laughed with joy and surprise at you all. What a fantastic job you all did. Hope you sell it for top dollar! 💞🥳
A huge job done well!! When I was a kid the high/low beam was standard on the floor.
Thanks for sharing, this was cool to watch replacing wire harness on the 1967 truck great job!
Thanks for watching
Wow that old truck runs nice! Great job on all that wiring!
Thanks 👍
What a great video, things just get better and better! Prayer works! Blessings
I remember we had large hard bound manuals that would basically cover a series of years of production they weren't cheap but any shade tree mechanic hard several and knew someone who had what he didn't lol but you could completely overhaul a vehicle if one puts one mind to but face it some people are just more inclined ot talented some are mechanical others carpenter while others better at farming my dad was jack of all trades master of none kind of blessings when living off grid we were off grid long before it was cool 50s thru the 90s
Great job. Sounds like you have some exhaust leaks to fix. Blessings, and good luck on the sale🙏🏻
I am with you Angela I like tearing things out too.😄😄 Leave the putting it back together for the ones that know how. Great job Sam. You both make Great Team you both are good at what you do 😊 Your boys are so cute they look like both of you.
Hi Sam & Angela,WOW!! You both never cease to amaze me!! Pat yourselves on the back!!Have a wonderful week!! 👏🏻☺️👍🏻
What a great Team y’all are. Kudos to you for figuring that out. That Painless kit was priceless!
I'm impressed, even Angela gets dirty, she can work better that a few men I know..girl power..
I would definitely be taking pictures that shows where all the wires go. But then of course, I know nothing about vehicles!
Awesome job you two. The person that buys this truck 🚛 will get a good one. Hope it sells soon.🙏
Impressive. Love how the feral boys are always right there with you absorbing all that new knowledge. Keep safe. Praying you will sell your truck soon.
Much appreciated
It's amazing that you all know how to do everything..... Very impressive....... Hugs
Thank you! :)
I didn't really run you over sir I just hit you ,,,, here let me help you up ,,, your not bleeding too bad ,LOL
I have a 66 Chevy C10 with a rats nest under the dash , rats/mice have eaten the insulation . Multiple switches with wires going nowhere , . I like the wires in that kit being marked and multicolored . One question does Angela come with the kit . I need a helper . Good job guys I enjoyed ,,,, still bleeding ,,, but enjoyed.
We make a specific kit for your '66 C10, so it would be even easier! :)
Great reps for your company Painless. In fact I’m half tempted to go out and buy the kit, and find something to rewire👍👍🙏🏽
:) :)
Hi, Hey Sam, are you losing weight? Your face looks slimmer!!! After all the hard work you've done, so far, on the new homestead, I wouldn't be surprised!!! Great husband n wife couple working together!!! Makes life so much easier!!! Hugs!!!
Excellent job guys!! Someone going to get a good dump truck! Angela you got wright in to it!!!
That is VERY cool! Perfect pairing with Sam and Angela.
Looks like a 1965 model, great video !
Angela, you just made me feel old. I was raised on vehicles that had the light switch on the floor. I was quit the adjustment for me when I first drove a car that had the switch on the steering wheel.
I’m pretty sure I snickered loudly when Angela commented about the floor button for the brights!! Learned how to drive w/that.
dump truck on new property b real handy...ought keep it...
What a great wiring harness. Only think I’ve rewired was an old Honda 90, years ago. Wow that shot under the truck was crazy!
Great job! Is there anything y’all can’t do?
If memory serves, I watched the video of you bringing it home where you surprised Angela with it AFTER you had purchased it. 😂 Wow Angela and Austin favor a lot. He is a good brother. Shalom 🕊
Your memory is correct!! :)
I remember that episode as well, he drove him home quite a ways if I remember correctly. I love that truck
Great job guys!
Thanks!! No doubt your kit made it all possible both in scope of project & in preservation of our sanity and marriage! LOL :)
How in the world do y’all know how to rewire a truck!? You just amaze me with your skill, knowledge, and fearlessness to try anything. It’s truly amazing to watch everything you two know how to do! Jack and Jill of all trades!
💚👏🏼💚👍🏼💚😲 (that’s my Wow expression!)
Edited to add there was awesome footage in the video. Nice job on that, too!
Honestly the manual really does walk you through the hard bits! Otherwise it's disassemble and replace. :)
@@GreenAcreHomestead lol whatever! You’re humble to boot too! 💚
I’ve been watching some of your older content, I’m a relatively new sub. I’m thinking the new place will be a wonderful adventure but you are really going to miss the greenhouse, workshop and soap shed.
Welcome to our channel! :) It's going to be a bit of adjustment and TON of new work, but worth it in the end!
I’m new and love watching your channel. You and your wife can do just about anything. 😀 👏 great job !
Thank you!!
Wow great package. Makes it look easy.
Whenever I do tight space work, I take off any accessories on my hands like rings and watch ect.
Amazing you guys!!!
You can tell a wife is really dedicated to her husband when she really gets involved in what he is doing. You are a blessing Angela!
I would buy a CNC and put it together before tackling an all-new wiring harness redo.
Cudos for taking on all the jobs I'm too intimidated to take on.
Says the guy who build his own camper from scratch!! :) You could totally do this!
Y'all did a great job
Well done, Guys! 😎
SAM AND ANGELA, YOU TWO NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE ME IN HOW WELL YOU WORK TOGETHER NO MATTER WHAT THE PROJECT IS. PAINLESS DID THE RIGHT THING BY SUPPORTING YOUR CHANNEL AND SHOWING US WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT THEY HAVE FOR WIRING REPLACEMENTS. IF ANYONE CAN GIVE A GREAT REVIEW OF A PRODUCT IT'S Y'ALL. GREAT JOB GUY'S AND I LOOK FORWARD TOU Y'ALL'S NEXT VIDEO.
Aww, thank you so much! We were very happy the worked with us too! :)
you might want to think about taking the dump to the new homestead . Check into Farm use Tags they might be cheaper
I'm so happy that Angela is a woman of all trades, she's not afraid to tackle anything. You too of course Sam. Happy that you were able to get the kit and get it all done. Fingers crossed for you to sell it!! TFS
Angela your a smart cookie👍😉
Great job on the truck!!
I don't have a dump truck and I think it's safe to say I will never own a dump truck, but I do like to watch whatever Sam and Angela are working on.😉 Good job you two and all your helpers too. 👍👍
Another great.. interesting.. video..xx Thanks for sharing x
Very good job and fun video.
That is a cool truck
Nice Video my friend! My next year project!
You guys make a great team👍
Thank you!!
I hope the dump truck sales fast so you can get the septic system.
Nice truck.
Hi Sam and Angela , at first as i was beginning to watch , I thought i had clicked on the wrong vid , the music puzzled me .lol
Wow! Painless Performance seems like a great company! I love how everything was packaged so nice and neatly. I really enjoyed this video and was wondering if you guys are gonna make a video of Angela making soap. I would love to see that as well. Thank you for another great and informative video.
We had zero complaints on the kit!! We really don't think we'll do a soap making video or tutorial. It's very specific and our own recipe. We don't want to give away the secrets and methods that make our soap what it is. Sorry!
@@GreenAcreHomestead No worries, completely understandable :)
Pretty good car that can tow that truck and with tires in the bed woo hoo
Thanks for the wire contact
No problem 👍
Shrink sleeve is your friend
Brave man.
That truck's as old as me. LOL
I wish had the money right now. I would definitely buy it.
I dont think i have ever seen a SAM sitting IN and engine ......hehehehehe
First and last time probably. LOL
Never seen anybody put fuse block on right side but if it works go 4 it
Angela is amazing
Hello from Bells, Tennessee
Dang what a job and I think it is totally awesome how you and Angela can do all that stuff. Mu hubby is a mechanic and works on heavy equipment back in the day but the electrical on vehicles has never been a forte~ so it's always been a thorn in the side.
Bless you both and I hope is sells quickly and you get your septic going. Kudos.......... Exciting stuff!
Thank you so much! Funny story... I went to school for Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanics back in the day! :) -Sam
I have bench seat from a Yukon. Do you think that could be used in your dump truck? I'm trying to find a home for it vs the dump.
